They all came up with an idea to start filing crashes and it progressed from there. It was funny talking to him, because this was right after he waxed his eyebrows. He also showed me his tatto on his ass, that says "Your Name"...His joke was, I have Your name tattoos on my ass..

My folks still talk about it was really weird. We were like identical twins.

Jackass is a combination of two groups, CKY, which had Bam, Raab, Dunn, etc and Big Brother Skate Videos. Steve-O was part of Big Brother, which was also where Knoxville, Lacey, and Pontius came from. It shouldn't be a surprise at all when any of them are good at skating because Jackass originated from two groups of people making skate videos. At least 75% of the crew are moderately good or better.

Big Brother would go on road trips, which is believed to be where Johnny met Bam Margera and they became good friends. In addition to skateboarding, Bam Margera had recently released a movie entitled Landspeed:CKY which consisted of himself and his friends, which he dubbed the "CKY Crew", in West Chester, Pennsylvania performing various skits and stunts. Among the Crew included the colorful cast of Ryan Dunn, Brandon Dicamillo, as well as Margera's family April, Phil, Don Vito, and Jess Margera. Later, the Jackass crew would personally recruit Steve-O in a Florida Flea Market where he worked as a clown for part of the show.       The Big Brother magazine writers/skaters were the pre Jackass crew. CKY was added after months of filming. You can see the similarity between jackass and old Big Brother videos.
