- GoKings, on 03/16/2009, -3/+22Bullfighting is ***** anyways. Tie its balls together, make it mad, force it to run around until exhaustion, and then stab it for the pleasure of a crowd. That isn't a "fine art."
- LordBalderdash, on 03/16/2009, -0/+12stabbing bulls with swords is a 'fine art'?
yeah, it's right up there with 'subway groping' as an art form. - lbermude, on 03/16/2009, -3/+12I respect people having different opinions... but when it comes to make animals hurt for extended periods of time for only entertainment i would say: F&uck NO!. and is this supposed to be an art??? DOUBLE F*CK NO!
Bury me if you want but I will never agree with this barbaric practice. Buried... - superterrorizer, on 03/16/2009, -0/+6Let them turn on each other. Then, when they're not looking...Release the bulls.
- jwolcott, on 03/16/2009, -0/+6Clearly you've never groped before. It takes finesse, subtlety of movement, a glance at just the right time, and a timely excuse if you get caught.
- korvins, on 03/16/2009, -2/+8Catalans are collecting signatures to create a law to forbid bullfighting in Catalonia:
http://www.prou.cat/english/
No problem there, most of catalans are against bullfighting and it is not going to be a major problem there. However Castilians (80% of spaniards) still feel this as an "art" or sport and it is going to be tougher to erradicate it there. - cl2yp71c, on 03/16/2009, -0/+4hey....=(
- jwolcott, on 03/16/2009, -0/+3I would actually prefer to see two Bull Fighters fighting each other than a Bull, it would be more entertaining and the outcome would be a lot more uncertain.
- Samuraizero, on 03/17/2009, -0/+3FTA: A 2006 Gallup poll found that 72% of Spaniards said they were "not interested" in what is still commonly referred to as the "national fiesta."
No, we don't. - poidh, on 03/16/2009, -0/+3Sticking swords into animals for sport can do that to the brain.
- nudedos, on 03/16/2009, -2/+4Acceptance is different in different cultures. There have been bull fights longer than the US has actually existed.
- cl2yp71c, on 03/16/2009, -1/+3I bet sadism is considered an art in Spain as well.
- jamdogg, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2Nothing says justice like when the bull manages to turn the tables on one of those lycra wearing goons. Those ones at least shouldn't be killed but retired in a nice green pasture full of large-uddered cows.
- superterrorizer, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2In Soviet Russia, We stab bullfighter with knives before the fight!
- inactive, on 03/16/2009, -4/+5Those outfits are pretty ghuhey.
- jwolcott, on 03/16/2009, -1/+2In Soviet Russia, Bull kills You! Actually, that's pretty much in any part of the world except Spain.
- kingofinternet, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1it's all part of the bulls' plan...
- jetsetjenny, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1that is wierd
- djironx, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1I'd be turned on too if I was I bullfighter looking at other bullfighters.
- oli700, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1Went to many corridas when I was a child living in Colombia (I'm Canadaian...anyway). If I was a bovine, I would like to be a corrida bull! They may not have the greatest ending, and this is debatable, but these bulls have the greatest life you can have...Except a quick ending, the normal beef life is much worse. Many people don't like the actual killing "for fun", but (I'll be dugg) it's serving a social purpose as well in some parts of the worlds. You scream, you get crazy, in the sun, it's hot, you feel the danger. I don't know, there's something animalistic in it that many people are unable to accomodate in their mind, but that I accept in mine.
- maci01, on 03/16/2009, -2/+3Have you considered that they live in the wild and have wild food handed to them along with water on a regular basis? These animals live satisfying lives, especially compared to the cows and pigs who are slaughtered and forced to live in small confinements.
- calvinw, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1Dugg for the titles nice choice of words.
- graemee, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1I think they stuff, if-you-know-what-I-mean.
- inactive, on 03/17/2009, -1/+1What a ***** stupid tradition.
- leighton0h, on 03/16/2009, -2/+2that was way too long...I didn't read it and I just wanted to post here to say that I didn't mean to digg it...
- Matricsx, on 03/17/2009, -1/+1I love Bullfighting!! of course bulls will suffer during the "Corrida de Toros", but most of the people in the US don´t know much about bullfighting. Most of the "corridas" last no more than 15 minutes, bulls are pinched 4 o 5 times. and then finally are stabbed in the heart with a sword once, if the bull wont die with in 2 minutes they use other method to kill the bull therefore not extending the pain and suffering. And when the bull is a Champion they will be spared by the public and the Plaza Judge. Bulls have good life condition compared with the bulls you eat every day the meat you eat :, bulls are killed to satisfy the food marked, they are confined in thight spaces, they are castrated some by knife some with pliers, they spend most of the time with out moving because if they move to much and lose weight. So which bull suffer more? Bullfightings Bulls (lidia toros) suffer no more than 5 minutes... the food marked bulls suffer constanlty for 2 or 3 yeas...
- choopie911, on 03/16/2009, -2/+2I blame those pants.
- zakatak, on 03/17/2009, -0/+0En guard!
Wait......... what are we talking about? - Merrell0, on 03/16/2009, -3/+2That is disgusting. Why would they want to turn each other on? Shouldn't they be concentrated on the bulls?
- Azathothh, on 03/16/2009, -2/+1this is more interesting:
