It would be more dangerous for her to come back up and possibly drag him over than to throw her off which she was intentionally supposed to be doing until she failed at jumping off a small ledge. Its good he threw her away from the ledge too so she wouldn't hit her head.

(P.s. the rope is on her legs, you if you payed attention to the fact that shes bungee jumping, you would have noticed it. - ArchieAndrews, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5I was a jumpmaster for a few years and once you are on the strut, you don't get to come back in. We did a hanging/dynamic exit where they were hanging from the strut, thus no feet to kick out from under them.
Very few people remember me digging my knuckle into their soft tissue on top of their shoulder to "coax" them to leave if they don't let go after me telling them to a few times.
