- evileyetmc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I will certainly be using this in my office and those boring lectures that some dumbass always asks stupid questions in...
also, check out the ***** bingo site TFA links to - http://www.*****.net/ - khag7, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Yes, you're right. Me, a new user, should have known to search for "office guns"
Some people dont spend a lot of time on digg. I just glance at the frontpage a few times a day and i learn a new site every now and then. I think a majority of Digg users do that, and thats why new articles come to the front, because there are always a lot of people that havn't seen it. Nobody diggs a dupe they've seen. As long as nobody diggs an article they've seen before, there will be no unnecessary dupes. It came to the front because enough people were interested. Stop being a ***** dupe-sayer. I hate your type. - ziki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8oh great so now airports are going to restrict paper clips, rulers and rubber bands from being carried on the plane.
- Luigi239, on 10/12/2007, -11/+18Crap...burry this please.
- DoubtfulSalmon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yeah, you've gotta watch those ostriches, they can be brutal.
- FoxFaction, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is such a dupe. So much so I'm going to shoot the submitter in the eye with my rubber-band metal-clip thing that I made OVER A MONTH AGO.
- forgiste, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6What?? You actually are getting dugg up for saying bury this please...
Bunch of sarcastic *****. I'll digg you down man. Hate to see you suffer. - canadianguy33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4
"Look menacingly at your target. Laugh your best evil laugh and let go of the Mauly 32. The trigger system will release the Mauly 19, launching your projectile at your target. If aimed correctly, you will hear an outburst of pain shortly after."
**From this page http://www.officeguns.com/gunadv_ruler_of_the_office.html check out the photo at the bottom. - Eric, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@osiris24x did you not pay attention to the three other stories the submitted the same exact link?

- newbietheatre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Now i'm looking forward to going back to work!
- SenatorPenguin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I made one of those a while ago, and it does actually fire a pencil through an empty soda can. It is so insane to show the impaled coke can to people and say, "Pretend this is your upper arm"
I do need to try an unopened can, though. - thisisbs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am digging this just becuase everyone in here is being an ***** about this being the second time on the front page.
also because i used the super maul on my boss and he had no idea what the hell hit him. hheheheheheheh - spinchange, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I've already submitted the source URL to CIA, NSA, DOD, TSA, DHS, and Digg for domain banning (just for good measure)

- jackminardi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The gallery is very cool
- landyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1lol that super mauly in the advanced section fired a pencil through a coke can
- MrWhistler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We used to get in so much trouble in high school for making ruler crossbows with pencils, rubber bands, and Mauly's
Those things could send a pencil an inch into sheetrock... - RandomSkratch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ummm.. you don't buy these DIY ones.. You use stuff that already exists in an office.

Anyone else familiar with this weapon? - jackminardi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You are an idiot
- ProximaC, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3ya know, if people weren't interested in them, the dupes wouldn't make the front page. but they do, cause people digg them up. Big deal if you've already seen it. most people haven't.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How long until some idiotic middle schooler somewhere reads this and puts someone's eye out? I'm taking bets.

- Hackdaddy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1My brother and I invented the Super Maul as kids decades ago, but we used a common, well-known toy to make them.
These things are DANGEROUS! We were extremely lucky we didn't lose an eye. I doubt if safety glasses will prevent serious harm! Be warned!
We both signed a disarmament treaty after my brother's toys were getting broken by the projectiles -- and never made one again.
Some unfortunate person is going to lose an eye. My suggestion: bury this. - MikeDawg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2@ProximaC
No, it proves peoples are lemmings. . . Yes, especially digg users. See: anything apple, ubuntu, or Joss Whedon (eg. Firefly & Serenity). You my friend are a tool.
There is a point to not having dupes in Digg. Digg has enough posts that it could easily recycle through them constantly and some other lemmings would digg it to the front page, not because it is front page worthy, but because they are also tools.
It is my official goal, to make dupe-calling become cool once again. They have recently fallen out of favor, and I'm here to bring them back. - patisawesome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Over at Bleach eating Freaks they've been having the Office Bricolage contests. The weapons posted are much more lethal. They could defiantly put a few eyes out.

What does a duplicate post have to do with newsgroups anyways? I'm curious. - mhearne, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Well of course, but we'll be nice and 'safe', won't we?
- MikeDawg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1@khag7:
I love your "type"
Listen, there is a reason things get buried, because people have already seen them. I believe Digg now has enough content, that if your "type" were around, it would just be a constant recycle of everything that has been posted, which is "not cool". I know you're obviously too cool to understand this, and in fact, I doubt you will even take the time to read this, but it is true. - forgiste, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Okay, in case people like you haven't figured it out yet, NEVER, and I mean NEVER, point out that a submission has hit the front page with WTF X amount of diggs.
That's a great way to get ostricized from the digg community. - kdmaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0awesome
finally, a website that tells you useful school/office warfare techniques
and anyone who says to bury this: GO TO THE LIBRARY - mhearne, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0That's right, RTFM, Google is your Friend, etc. But most of all, go back to the newsgroups where you came from!
- MikeDawg, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4I know how saying something is a dupe is un-cool with the digg crowd. But I have to say it, what's with this resurgence of old articles?
Please don't give me the line about "What about the new users who haven't seen these older stories." Because that is BS, they still exist, if they want to see/find them, they can search for them. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0god these office guns are ***** annoying. they aren't cool, they're a waste of money, the diy versions are a waste of time, and you look like a total ***** tool for buying one.
- JONU, on 10/12/2007, -15/+416 Diggs and already frontpage?
