Still Teahupoo is probably the most dangerous wave in the world.

No parking lots or tolls.
No trendy shops or Starbucks .
No waiting hours for the tide to change so you can surf that gnarly 2ft swell

there are 6 starbucks in the country all within the major cities
there are less than 5 tolls than i can think of all im pretty sure on the east coast of the country. there is lots of untouched beaches. - Hauk2004, on 05/11/2009, -1/+1Unfortunately all of that does exist here. One of the many reasons I hate it here. And the tide does have an effect here.

I thought the cold Atlantic and the stormy weather would keep away the crowds and that claustrophobic feeling.
Sadly I guess Ireland's beaches no different then any other .
