- Atex55, on 01/21/2009, -0/+1No, longboarding is easier than skateboarding because the wheels are wider and the board is longer giving you a larger balance area. But other than standing on the board it is hard to compare the two, they are completely different, one is for tricks and showing off, the other is for the feeling of fluidity (if that's a word). Its hard to explain the rush you get carving down a big hill on a longboard.
