This is from April of last season (2008), so it isn't exactly "news". Two days before, while he was attempting the record, he landed in the flats and hurt his heel and knee, but was able to come back and succeed.

That guy just ripped an extremely steezy grab 7, anyone who can throw something like that out would be sponsored in a heartbeat. "Larger than average quarter pipe" my ass, that thing is monstrous. Stop watching ESPN thinking you know what it takes to get to that level of skill. It takes a lot more than balls to do what he just did.I snowboard a lot, and anyone who actually participates in snow sports would know that was an amazing trick. Why do people like you exist?
