- saucy05, on 04/17/2009, -0/+37That's one crazy mother *****.
- Greengoo, on 04/17/2009, -1/+24Why does he have to do it all nearly-naked?
- billricardi, on 04/17/2009, -1/+22Did anyone else think that this was just going to be a picture of a mountain goat?
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -1/+14Oh My god...this is really incredible..how can a man do these stunts without any safety.
- techguy82, on 04/17/2009, -1/+10Incredible Indeed!
- aggiejaa, on 04/17/2009, -1/+9Lets make sure to digg his next story when he falls.
- smack1700, on 04/17/2009, -0/+8Anyone notice the American soldier attempting to take away his "Oil" he's balancing on?
- copyland, on 04/17/2009, -0/+7All he's got to do is hang on to the bike, cuz the bike ain't going nowhere with that big weight and tether attached. Having said that, he's still crazy.
- daimposter, on 04/17/2009, -3/+9cocaine....it's one hellava drug.
- bombadier337, on 04/17/2009, -3/+9Did he really need to be naked? (Yes, I know he had a skin colored thong, but that does not count)
- shanealeslie, on 04/17/2009, -1/+7Probably to lower wind resistance... or to impress the ladies.
- dbossnirvana, on 04/17/2009, -1/+6Cliffhanger.
- Grinty, on 04/17/2009, -2/+7I fell up the escalator...
- TyrannousDotNet, on 04/17/2009, -2/+6Well i fell down the escalator today...
- Igrift, on 04/17/2009, -1/+5Pure insanity!
- SwiftKick34, on 04/17/2009, -1/+5He is ***** crazy.
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -1/+4DUGG for them saying "Naked save for a skin-coloured thong, backwards and upside down"
Any guy that wears his thong backwards AND upside down..... now thats ballz - necromancer, on 04/17/2009, -0/+3...yet.
- buckw1lde, on 04/17/2009, -0/+3Man just looking at those pictures gives me vertigo.
- Malteserr, on 04/17/2009, -1/+3Maybe he likes the fresh, freezing air
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2He must be some sort of rodeo clown
- bratterscain, on 04/17/2009, -2/+4I think he missed the point of Yoga. It's used to live a longer and healthier life. Something apparently got lost in translation.
- Cojafoji, on 04/17/2009, -1/+3So the ***** has good balance, and a non-existent fear of heights. That is one crazy son of a bitch.
- cyborgmexican, on 04/17/2009, -1/+3On a side note, I'm going to Norway in a few weeks and will be visiting this location. Its going to be pure awesomeness!
- motters, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Potential Darwin award??
- UselessTrivia, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2I still like the simplicity and elegance of Philip Petit, the tight-rope walker who (illegally) strung up a wire between the WTC towers in the 70s. There's an amazing documentary about this called Man on Wire.
- meeting, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Please Darwin come get him.
- NotYourProdigy, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Or balance training.
- eryan5271, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2"Seeing his balancing acts as expressions of art and not stunts, Norwegian Eskil has even bigger plans for the future...'What I do, is draw a picture with vulnerable human beings and their bodies, in the surrounding of mother earth."
It's all part of his "artistic statement," which he appears to intend to be a juxtaposition of a fragile, unprotected human being against extremes of environment as an expression of humanity's true helplessness in the face of the world.
That appears to be what he intends. I can't see something like this without seeing a person expressing, "Wooooo! Look at what I can do!" Eventually leading to their death in a spectacularly bizarre fashion. But that may just be a product of my own environment. I grew up around rednecks. - inigomntoya, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Or clothing...
*Oh GOD! MY EYES! THEY BURN!!* - WibWobble, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Is it wrong that I really want to see a video of him falling?
- vl002001, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2to show off that fantastic body
- g33b33, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2notice he wears a helmet on solid ground...and it is one letter away from saying "moronic" on the front :-)
- phosphite, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Goats did it!!
- djdavetrouble, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1OMG HE IS DIFFERENT! JUDGE HIM MERCILESSLY ! THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIM.
Let him do what the hell he wants to do and save the judgements. - paidhima, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1FTA:
"He added: 'I feel fear, of course I do, we are humans and we have a natural sense of self-preservation.
'However, I must control that before I undertake any new project because that would lead to lethal mistakes.
'If I ever find myself totally fearless then that is when I will stop what I am doing.' " - Myztry, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1He obviously has great balance but also a complete lack of fear. It's so much easier to balance on something close to the ground than at a height, for the fear makes you over compensate.
- mikemehak, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1I don't see what the big deal is. I wear a skin coloured thong whilst rising my bicycle upside down pretty much on a daily basis.
In fact, I just heard the dryer finish, i'm going to get my flesh coloured thong on while it's still warm. - Shagmire, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1i would probably sh*t my pants, then fall to a horrible horrible death
- freakyflow, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1That's true art, no bs.
- krekc, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1***** art and save the political statements. No one cares!
- peteyb1313, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1good thing he has that helmet on or he could get hurt if he falls
- tortfeasor2009, on 04/18/2009, -0/+1Would someone please explain to me symbolism of the photograph of the soldier with the American flag gun.
- TommyGunn32, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1That's nothin', I did a handstand on a 3 ft tall railing in college once.
I also fell directly onto the side of my face on cement, yielding stitches and a black eye for like 2 weeks, but whatever. - kirra27, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Wow that guy has some serious guts. It's making me nervous just by looking at those pictures!
- stuffradio, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1Ok copyland, you do it and submit it to digg at the same time!
- Residents, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1He's got serious skill and there is no taking that away from him. However, I think an impressive secondary ability is to ward off any and all nerves. If you get nervous that's when you're going to make the big mistake. Seeing the way some people can completely ignore nerves really impresses me. A great feat to say the least, more power to him.
- AdrianKRAZY, on 04/18/2009, -0/+1Incredible but not 1,000 ft incredible.

**Compare with 2nd picture. - Acqua206, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1I came here to post the same thing. I've ridden the one at the Seattle Science Museum. Feels really scary and looks incredibly unstable but I made it around the circle in one piece.
- mlp101316, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1I've been falling down the escalator for the last three days now....
