It's a TV fishing show here in New Zealand "ITM Fishing show" as such, they have multiple cameras, a decent sized crew and a chase boat or two. The fish was spotted from the air, a diver/cameraman went in from the boat. He does this sort of stuff al the time.

1) Man dives into ocean from helicopter
2) Man diving into water grabs a Marlin
3) Same man makes the Marlin his bitch
So I'm not sure where the staging/faking comes into play on this other than if he didn't jump from the helicopter to the Marlin, but rather two pieces were edited together...one where he jumped from a boat onto a Marlin...still pretty badass. - inactive, on 07/01/2009, -5/+12You idiots think he just flew over, spotted this marlin and jumped out and grab it...
