today.reuters.com — Nov. 5 - Britain's George Atherton won Mexico City's Down Hill Metro competition in one of the subway terminals. Thirty-seven riders -- all but five Mexican -- competed in a slalom down 70 metres of stairs with 16 going through to a direct elimination system. The winner rode away with the first prize of 2,000 U.S. dollars
