- sup4141, on 07/16/2008, -0/+32Take a look at his truck. Forrest must have knocked a screw loose if he thought he could get away with a hit and run in that vehicle.

- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+14Too funny. Toyo tires logo on the side, with one completely blown out tire.
Dana White is flying in to bail him out. - Tenhi, on 07/16/2008, -0/+9More pictures available from:
http://photos.tmz.com/galleries/rampage_arrested - dha07030, on 07/16/2008, -0/+9Well he has to live up to his name, no?
- echodots, on 07/16/2008, -2/+10So much for his UFC contract. I wonder what Dana is saying about this? Or Spike?
- Ironspork, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7This guy has been a friggin role model for my gym and I, and now he pulls this kind of *****?
Honestly, what was he thinking? - Burento, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7Nahh... they cant afford another major fighter to go... He would get signed instantly and that would be bad bad bad for Dana...
- branndon, on 07/16/2008, -0/+6Wow, I drive the 55 Freeway daily.... All the cool stuff happens while I'm surfing digg... I did see Tank Abbot in a restaurant once here though.
Oh, I forgot, this is digg... bury me for not saying something like "EPIC FAIL OM NOM NOM on the asphalt bro!" - curiousgrge, on 07/16/2008, -0/+6It would be hypocritical of Dana White not to kick him out (not that I'm for it). Look what happened to Jesse Taylor on The Ultimate Fighter. He was drunk and kicked out the window of a limousine, then threatened guests at a casino. Dana White dropped the hammer down on him hard. What Rampage Jackson did has to be at least twice as worse. On top of that, he knew about the whole Jesse Taylor situation as his team benefited from Taylor getting tossed.
I don't know what Rampage was thinking when he thought he could escape the police in that truck. I'm surprised he didn't break out saying he was reenacting the whole O.J. Simpson chase as he is a very funny guy. - inactive, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5Yeah, that's not exactly a stealth vehicle.
- tracespeck, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5He made a really really bad choice here. All he had to do was pull over and nothing would have happened (pay some higher insurance rates, go to traffic school maybe), even after the initial hit and run it would have been far better to pull over then lead the cops on a chase.
There are rumors that he was asleep at the wheel during the initial hit, that he has been out partying for a week or so. That doesn't excuse this at all though. I can only think that he has probably been told most his life that cops are bad news and to avoid them, just made things 100x worse running in this situation. - drethedog, on 07/16/2008, -0/+4I bet his mugshot looks just like that one up there...
- randman89, on 07/16/2008, -0/+4NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO : (
- tracespeck, on 07/16/2008, -1/+5Taylor was saying he was a UFC fighter during his episode, that makes Dana look bad. Bottom level guys causing trouble in other peoples casinos while claiming to be representatives of the UFC makes Dana look very very bad. I'm sure he took it personaly, and that was at the core of kicking him out.
- AttackGypsy, on 07/16/2008, -0/+4He's gonna get suspended for a minimum of 1 year, for sure. This is a bad one, and the UFC doesn't put up with this *****.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -0/+4Dana is flying in to bail him out. He will be out tomorrow (or maybe tonight). No drug or alcohol charges yet, so he was good at tossin, or good at hiding
- methodmonk, on 07/16/2008, -1/+4oh quinton. have you given up halo for gta now?
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+4"Police had received a report of a vehicle with his photo on it involved in a collision on the 55 Freeway in Costa Mesa, that struck other vehicles and fled the scene, according to Lt. Paul Dondero."
That's some smart runnin right thar! Picture of the truck in question:
http://www.sportsnet.ca/mma/2008/07/15/rampage_arr ... - phyx726, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3What he does in front of the camera is just his persona. He's actually very intelligent if you can find an interview where he is being serious, which is why I find this especially strange.
- mal1964, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3Monster Truck + Gas Prices = Road Rage.
- bjornski, on 07/16/2008, -1/+4I've seen the Toyo logos around before, but it's the big picture of himself on the side of the vehicle that got me laughing.
- drethedog, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2I wonder if anybody will try to make Rampage his biatch in jail.....
- contact, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2I bet they were pulling him over because he wasn't using a bluetooth headset.. Thank god he was wearing his seatbelt.
- Cody-Nolen, on 07/16/2008, -1/+3This is just amusing to me.
- maddendude, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2What exactly makes him a thug?
- jaydoj, on 07/16/2008, -2/+4I really hope this isn't a foreshadowing of things to come for the UFC, and MMA in general. It seemed that the police involvment in the world of MMA was fairly minimal, unlike the NFL. These guys need to realize that not only are they celebrities in their own rights, they also got that way by doing something violent, and need to treat everyday life just a bit differently than any other athlete. As athletes in the sport of MMA, they need to watch themselves a bit closer, and keep far far away from any trouble like this. Hopefully Jackson understands this and we don't hear anything else about it.
- edebolt, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2He is too stupid to change a tire. He was going to drive to his buddies house so he could change it... Quentin "Meat Head" Jackson.... Action Figure available at ................
- sumeetg, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2Crazy *****
- HumanRecalled, on 07/16/2008, -1/+3Spike ? What does spike have to do with this ?
Spike only airs UFC's TUFF tv show ! Quinton was a one time deal to coach ! Spike can say all they want i guess but they really have to say at all if that's what your getting at - strafefire, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2He wasn't, and that is the problem.
Why Rampage, Why? - codyman, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2I bet he just had filled up his tank with gas and was appalled/pissed at the cost... hence the show he put on on the good old congested I-55mph interstate
- tracespeck, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2He's not the first MMA guy to have trouble with the law. Most of the fighters don't have celebrity status though so it isn't reported outside MMA sites.
Anyway I wouldn't expect better from MMA athletes compared to other sports. - jaydoj, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2I agree, I expect more from them as well. Especially as this sport grows into the mainstream. It is going to be imperative that everyone involved with MMA is paying careful attention to the image of the sport. It's bad enough that naysayers don't enjoy the fact the sport is growing exponentially, and specifically because of the violence associated with it, they will speak out against it. I am a fan of MMA, not just the UFC, but MMA in general. I just hope that they can keep the image up with the growth, and hopefully it won't suffer the growing pains similar to professional wrestling.
- hhmmm, on 07/16/2008, -1/+3want a cookie?
- tracespeck, on 07/16/2008, -1/+2Dana's bailing him out....
- EvilCan, on 07/16/2008, -0/+1Actually, no he's not.
- diggadigga, on 07/16/2008, -1/+2My reaction to this news http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m293/davidjungc ...
Jackson is one of my favorites. - 437gone, on 07/16/2008, -1/+2Ha! I live in Costa Mesa. It sucks here, bad. I wish he did more damage.
- IpwnZnoobs, on 07/16/2008, -0/+1http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2008/7/16/572508/distur ...
he didn't seem himself. - 8fans, on 07/16/2008, -0/+1Not a good month for Rampage
- florenz, on 07/18/2009, -0/+1He deserves it after dry humping that interviewer!
- potisreallygood, on 07/16/2008, -0/+1Im not surprised, he is pretty much like Floyd Mayweather Jr, but younger and crazier.
- diggitydad, on 07/16/2008, -1/+2Taylor is fighting on the UFC card Saturday. If anyone cares.
- HumanRecalled, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1@travis1982
Actually ***** face i originate from down east and worked my ass part of my life from a very young age on the Atlantic Ocean ! Where 10yrs of that brought me to Calgary on the Oil Fields and later Fisheries and Oceanic development in Alaska -to where i currently reside at the age of 32 in Oakville
I've owned everything from a Commodore Vic 20 to an Amiga up to my current Intel Quad Core - i went to CGI Graphics design School - i currently have taken and passed my Microsoft certification for systems engineer TECH and have 5 yrs of DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY under my belt ! What do you got bitch ?!!!!!!
I have been an avid follower of MMA since Kick Boxing back in the early 80's and k-1 and UFC events in the early to mid 90's to late 98 watching Pride FC etc
So before you run your mouth thinking you know me (which you don't ! ) i come from a hard working family not privileged! I don't wear Armani ( i did have the cologne back in the late 90's !) and i don't even own a beamer as you say - i a Ford 2008 F-110 - and i haven't hun a poster since the one i owned of Cindy Crawford when i was 16 yrs old which was 16 yrs ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sounds to me your the one hows privileged with all this high end references you seem to know so much about ! - inactive, on 07/16/2008, -0/+1After seeing him in the Ultimate Fighter show I never would have thought. Id like to know what happen? Was he high or drunk? Thats the only thing I could think of. Maybe he got scared and ran.. One stupid move, hes not famous enough to escape this and as well it doesnt look good for the UFC.
Like wtf was he thinking, seriously? Add to that, the truck, i mean thats just funny.
Road Rage could be another reason which I definitely would understand cause people have gotten to be really horrible and rude drivers. - seandaly, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1you suck at it...
- Cody-Nolen, on 07/16/2008, -1/+2wirednerve apparently thinks all black people are thugs.
Jackson only got a remotely thug like image because pride wanted that way. - travis1982, on 07/16/2008, -1/+1Just because you like "TEch" doesn't exactly mean that you're the brightest guy, from that mother comment I would think you're just a douche bag who likes blinking lights. Also, seeing that you're from Oakville, I would almost guarantee that you're a privileged inheritance douche who buys "TEch" toys for the hell of it, wears greasebag flashy Armani gear and drives a suped up beamer. I bet you have a Scarface poster in your house don't you.
- madcaps1980, on 07/16/2008, -1/+1Talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse...or is it jailhouse?
