- inactive, on 12/24/2008, -3/+14I guess this sport is sort of a big deal on the other side of the world eh.
- MikeWanDo, on 12/24/2008, -0/+9We don't do that here.
- StevesJobs, on 12/24/2008, -0/+8Not Mohalidefeat!
- MrShinra, on 12/24/2008, -1/+8I've no interest in the sport, but reading about Cricket matches is like reading a different entire language.
- weebs, on 12/24/2008, -3/+10wut.
- smartguy4932, on 12/24/2008, -0/+5FAIL.
- wildgilbert, on 12/24/2008, -0/+4You speak for America.
- bigboss0101, on 12/24/2008, -0/+3Ponting is the best batsman alive. Tendulkar is like facebook.. 100% media hype.
- estate, on 12/24/2008, -0/+2In India it's a religon. And in Australia, well, we love it because we're bloody good at it!
Hats off to India for their effort in this Test. South Africa, India and Australia are going to have interesting battles in the next two years or so. - estate, on 12/24/2008, -0/+2Man, KP is getting really good. 15 centuries from 45 matches? At this rate he'll pass Tendulkar about the same time Ponting does!
- estate, on 12/24/2008, -0/+2It's close, but I do agree. When both are at their peak, I believe Ponting is a better Test batsmen. Tendulkar is more a gentleman's cricketer, but Ponting has a ruthless never-take-my-foot-off-your-throat ability. When has an opponent down, he just keeps on pounding. Tendulkar is probably more technically correct, and he's much better when playing straight, but Ponting's mental edge gives it for me.
Plus his pull-shot. Punter's back foot pull shot is a work of art. - pyry, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1The same reason football makes it to the front page of digg. I don't understand it, but enough people do so that happens. Surpriiiise
- eejbm, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1because the world doesnt actually revolve around america . . . . there _are_ a billion people in India that love this sport...
thanks for proving your ignorance! - ChristBehemoth, on 12/24/2008, -1/+2Buried as Inaccurate, because Cricket is not extreme sports. kevinlouis and his minions are at it again!
- eejbm, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1Stupid americans being to ignorant to understand the greatest sport in the world.
- bigboss0101, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1Dude u put all my opinion about Ponting in perfect words.
"ruthless never-take-my-foot-off-your-throat ability"
"When has an opponent down, he just keeps on pounding"
You are spot on with that.. and thats what I like about Ponting. He is perfect blend of aggression and intelligence. - bigboss0101, on 12/24/2008, -1/+2Whats so shocking about it?
- vaughnallan, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1always a pleasure to see a losing england side :-)
