- IamNOTmrT, on 09/05/2008, -0/+36Good to finally see someone landing those. I thought the only way to get dugg was to do a facepant/wishbone combo. Everyone who landed those has taken some seriously painful spills in their time. Max respect!
Oh and, dugg for having nothing to do with Sarah Palin - eanbowman, on 09/05/2008, -1/+31I love these videos, keep posting them.
Man, I want a skate again :C - blogosphear, on 09/05/2008, -2/+26That back 3 by moose was ***** sick
- callinthelaw69, on 09/05/2008, -0/+21I had forgotten how sick a skater Andrew Reynolds is. Damn.
- phirestyle, on 09/05/2008, -2/+21I can't skate (and I've never tried) but I've always enjoyed watching it. It's entertaining, skaters land stellar tricks or fall on their ***** face. I even like playing the Tony Hawk games.
Here's a cool video of my favorite skater, Rodney Mullen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U-cgn3cEGA - Dylson, on 09/05/2008, -0/+12Cool. I'd probably kill myself if i tried that.
- tectonix, on 09/05/2008, -0/+11***** sheckler
REYNOLDS PUTS THE CAPITAL B IN BOSS - Morph_Ball, on 09/05/2008, -1/+12Shred or Die has the nicest web-based video viewer out there right now...
- goreyend, on 09/05/2008, -0/+10what a stupid comment
- AdmiralHalsey, on 09/05/2008, -1/+10i hate ryan sheckler.. but he's awesome at what he does.
- joerod, on 09/05/2008, -0/+9those dudes have skilllls
- sweetbean, on 09/05/2008, -0/+9or click another dugg article.
it's your choice.
it's that simple.
that's the magic of digg. - Gimjee, on 09/05/2008, -0/+7They make pain look painless. :(
- bunnyandzombie, on 09/05/2008, -0/+7I completely agree, but that's the norm with street skating - no helmets. They get away with it because it's rare that there are any sort of street skating events. Skaters make their name and get sponsorships through video parts, which have nothing todo with competitions.
- IamNOTmrT, on 09/05/2008, -0/+6I held a gun to his head and forced him to click and watch. He had no choice
- eanbowman, on 09/05/2008, -1/+7Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I know many people with genius level IQs who would do things most people consider "retarded".
Life is boring if you let fear stop you from everything. - consoneo, on 09/05/2008, -1/+7Yeah, I'm not sure I'd end up in one piece jumping without a board... lol
- TheMoniker, on 09/05/2008, -0/+6The weirdest thing is the muscle memory. I quit in '98 and a year ago I went out on my friend's board in his parking lot. I had lost nearly everything that I could do, tre flips, varial heel flips, almost every flip trick including kickflips (I still had 180s and pop shuvits) but the one flip trick that I didn't lose? Switch hardflips, randomly. I couldn't do them regular, but switch? Still there.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+6That douche bag Ryan Sheckler got 1st? What a ***** bag
Moose should have gotten 1st - bunnyandzombie, on 09/05/2008, -1/+6Can someone please give Cartman his World of Wonder fix?
- tonyteetime, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5It takes balls to do that.
- indubitably, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5i ollied once
- sweetbean, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5Bernal Heights!!!!
- Rage67, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4good on shekler too
"you may hate his show, but you can't front on that" - jlee2081, on 09/05/2008, -3/+7ouch
- RedS0x, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Oh, look! Another buried comment from KenSPT..
- xsidekick409, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4You're computer called. It missed you while you were taking a *****. Don't leave it alone like that.
- parkermauney, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4It doesn't look like sheckler even tries anymore. It just happens.
- SpeedStix, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4please don't speak. Skateboarding is huge now a days.
- Zwale, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Back in the 80s We watched Mark Gonzales ollie a fire hydrant and thought that was it - he was God and nobody could ever top it. It just blows my mind what they do now. Skaters are amazing athletes.
- fondlemister, on 09/05/2008, -1/+4Damn this video really makes me want to go out and buy a new deck
- Koushiro, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3Lucky Charms is the most damn delicious cereal ever. :)
- mikeevegas, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3Don't get me wrong, cause I love Rodney Mullen, but does someone always have to link to him when a skate story hits the front page of Digg?
- TheChunt, on 09/05/2008, -1/+4Then dont look at it?
- blogosphear, on 09/05/2008, -1/+4Prize mone....actually I'll give you another shot...
- seanc6610, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3Nike SB started in 2002.
- chiefbandit2200, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3They started making nike brand skate shoes (and some other skateboarding stuff) in 2002, but they've been involved in skateboarding since a while before that.
- scumblz, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3I hear you. After years of skating/bmx/..rollerblading :) my ankles and knees are shot. The best I can do is cruise around on a long board if I don't want to be hurting afterwards.
- SpeedStix, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3Yea.. Sheckler did land that huge tre flip though.
I agree the 360 down the set was huge. - luap119, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3Sheckler is such a bro haha
- Jhiaxuz, on 09/05/2008, -1/+3At least these guys do something with their boards. All the "Skaters" do here is stand around a three-flight staircase and talk while looking like jackasses.
- uruururr, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2just curious... how come? is he a wigger or something?
- thestaton, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2respect.
- SpeedStix, on 09/05/2008, -1/+3Yea.. that should of won.. but then again.. 3 flip down such a huge set.. Wow..
Obviously reynolds would throw down a fs flip down it.
Loved the 360 though.
That set is huge. - havefuntimes, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Reynolds is still the man! Sheckler is on top of the game now though, he has tons of skill and tons of board control.
- SkinnyPuppy, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2Count Chocula!
- SpeedStix, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2You hear him talk recently? He tries to sound all thugged out. Its hilarious.
- redbytex, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1The only thing we can learn from this is that flash video can be very high quality and still relatively fast to download.
Youtube take note. - gatorfree, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Was that actually a girl skater? Better not let my daughter see this ...
- eanbowman, on 09/12/2008, -0/+1Yeah I seem to have become better with time. I haven't skated for years now but when I get on one I have much better control. I don't know why that'd be at all. O_o
I haven't stopped doing everything active altogether. Maybe that's it... I've kept up mountain biking.
To scumblz, I have friends who have injured themselves like that but thankfully I was always a bit cautious about jumping into things so I got away injury free. :D
You know what I find really fun? Those tiny skateboards for toddlers and for teen girls to wear as a fashion statement or something. They're fully functional and actually landing a trick on something that tiny is a challenge. XD -
