    If anything, these guys should be given bonus points for remaining competitive whilst handicapping themselves!

    And I really don't see why they can't use recreational drugs. If they're allowed to consume alcohol, why not weed? As long as they're not high coming into a fight, who ***** cares?

  • Disco1Stu, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3Joe Rogan said in an interview that he's seen fighters light up right before a fight. I think you have a higher tolerance for pain if you're stoned, and I can see it being helpful for submission specialists...it might help you get more relaxed and become less aware of the crowd (weed can often make you completely absorbed in one particular thing while drowning everything else out).
