- froonium, on 07/23/2008, -2/+21Oooohh, BIKING skills. For some reason my mind wasn't working right and I saw BIKINI skills and thought "this I gotta see!"
- Kn1ghtmare, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2Amazing, I thought the exact same thing. I was fairly disappointed to see a guy on a bike instead. However, if you want to see some truly amazing bikini skills, go check out Sophie Monk over on The Superficial... Talk about amazing.
- sanman, on 07/24/2008, -1/+2I swear I saw the same thing, and came in here to find that you saw it too.
Bikinis > Biking - b0j3, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Joining the "I saw Bikini first" club.
- lithera, on 07/23/2008, -1/+8Truly amazing, that guy is so talented. He needs a good sponsor ASAP!
- RustyJ, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Right at about 2:24... I had to watch it a few times to believe it!
- cyrix, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't already a sponsored trials rider on trek, specialized, haro, gary fisher, or cannondale.
Trials riders have amazing skills when it comes to precision. And to try to compare trial riders to downhill riders is like apples to oranges.
- ieure, on 07/23/2008, -0/+34Fake. That’s not a bicycle, it’s clearly a pogo stick.
- damircea, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1It's called bike trials. I do that too :).
- dballagh, on 07/23/2008, -1/+4This guys has no suspension...I wonder if my walmart bike can do that?
- rpong1981, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2I'm going to say no since your Walmart bike probably weighs three times as much as his bike
- micahned, on 07/24/2008, -0/+4Probably ten
- noots, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1i'm guessing they don't have gears etc to reduce weight? or will there really be that much difference and they are not there because they don't need them?
- jpb0104, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1i'm going to say weight and ground clearance. doesn't need a ton of gears where his going with that bike, which is mostly straight up walls and across gaps in the air.
- boris4ka, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2No. His bike costs a couple thousand bucks for a reason. If you try doing even a 3 foot drop, you'll most likely break something on your bike.
- rpong1981, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2That's a good point. His frame can handle a tremendous amount of force while a Walmart bike can't.
- offtone, on 07/24/2008, -1/+1It could. Flat-to-flat drops aren't that hard on the bike if you land on the rear wheel and take the shock with your knees.
- cyrix, on 07/24/2008, -1/+1Trial bikes don't really utilize suspension systems. And if they do it's usually just a front fork limited to roughly at most 80 mm of front suspension and no rear suspension. Otherwise they'd have to deal with bounce (aka rebound) from the suspension itself. The only reason they really use front suspension at all is to decrease the strain on the wrists from high drops.
- rpong1981, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2I'm going to say no since your Walmart bike probably weighs three times as much as his bike
- foomojive, on 07/23/2008, -2/+5youtube link? that site's video player froze every few seconds for me.
- Alex2, on 07/24/2008, -1/+6it's edited that way.
Each edit is a faceplant, which has been cut out.
- Alex2, on 07/24/2008, -1/+6it's edited that way.
- petomni, on 07/24/2008, -9/+1I'd be more impressed if this was a GTA video
- Disease, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5This is why everyone hates us, we prefer video game skills to real life skills.
- sockpuppets, on 07/24/2008, -11/+4That guy's going to look badass on his way over to his job at burger king.
- Mononuclear, on 07/24/2008, -2/+9what is with all the cuts? Does he keep falling and they have to try again? Most of the tricks it shows him just doing them normally but a lot of them have obvious cuts. Some of the cuts look like they are for effect and have him moving. Others though he is in the same spot still but you can see it has been cut almost like he fell but then got back in the same position and then they shot again.
- sassafras1232, on 07/24/2008, -0/+4They just wanted to make it watchable. In the cut time he is just regaining his balance and shifting weight for the next move. You'll see the same thing in rock climbing videos and any sport that is not "fast-paced". Basically the average joe doesn't want to watch 5 moves in 2 minutes. Much more fun to see 5 moves in 20 seconds.
- rpong1981, on 07/24/2008, -3/+2Which takes more skill: this guy or "Lady on Bike" http://youtube.com/watch?v=hX9phXawPc4 ?
Discuss.- HigherLogic, on 07/24/2008, -3/+2That's easy, what the lady's doing takes more skill.
- hawksfan03, on 07/24/2008, -1/+2The next upcoming video on digg is going to be one where this guy falls and busts his head open.
- TNicholson, on 07/24/2008, -1/+13lol "bunny hop".. get it.. cuz the article about the rabbit under this on the front page?
/fail. - MsAntiSunshine, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2He's making jumps from a stationary position on a bike that I would hesitate to do on foot. Incredible.
- calebian, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2Man, that cliff he climbed by hopping ALL the way up looked exhausting! If you have to do brief time elapses for one bike trick then your skilled. or slow... depends on the trick
- Elliuotatar, on 07/24/2008, -1/+2Here we see the last of the rad BMX dudes from the mid-1980's.
- RomieZ, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2Except thats not a bmx..
- Elliuotatar, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1He had to settle for a lesser bike because they don't make em like they used to.
- thexder, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0That's not Eddie Fiola
- RomieZ, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2Except thats not a bmx..
- OffPiste, on 07/24/2008, -0/+13I'd rather see the out-takes.
- scojerroc, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2agreed. i wonder how many times he's crashed in his career, and what his injuries were.
- micahned, on 07/24/2008, -1/+1I gotta admit, this is pretty impressive
- erasenrewind, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0i wanted to see someone fall....and be ok of course.
- karkin, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1This is insane. I can't even balance on my bike with it stationary, nevermind jump on top of a rock or wall and stay there like that.
- rob2oo4, on 07/24/2008, -1/+0Whoa, that kids got some serious wheels
- zackjattack413, on 07/24/2008, -2/+0Not bad seen riders with better skill.
- NSFWorhome, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1trials on digg...whoo!
- surfshaker, on 07/24/2008, -1/+9Come on, everyone knows that Ruben is king. If you have not seen this before you should. This is Grand Theft Auto bmx riding in real life!
http://www.pinkbike.com/video/4694/- nixonic, on 07/24/2008, -1/+2that guys sick, but frankly its not really the same thing. trials and bmx are completely different, and neither are "GTA in real life"...
- scojerroc, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2if the prince of persia had a bmx, that is what he'd do.
- surfshaker, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1If you ever ride the BMX in GTA, glitching off walls and gaping, you will see how this video is similar. Especially starting at 135 seconds in the video where Ruben is gaping huge to stomp vertical walls.
- SuperTonic, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0I wonder how often that guy replaces his brakes? Most of those hops require precise braking. You can hear the squeaks from his brakes in there too. Pretty righteous vid. Bike parkour?
- nixonic, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0You need to check out Ryan Leech, this guy is pretty good but Leech is amazing
- nixonic, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThLSXiOn0HE&feature ...
- cyrix, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1***** yeah, Ryan Leech is a sick trials rider. Some of the stuff they showcased in ROAM was ridiculous, but it's a shame they couldn't get more from him, I've seen him do some insane things on a bike in a city environment.
- lolmax, on 07/24/2008, -0/+3It would be way cooler if he was doing this using a pink girls bike with streamers and a banana seat
- NSFWorhome, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1trials on digg...whoo! The reason there are cuts is because they are cutting out recovery hops, or tick tacking. Its very very slow and more boring to watch than the big hops. The small hops are used to set up positions for each subsequent jump.

- OldSchmitty81, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2Ryan Leech is the most impressive trials rider I've seen, check him out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F7z4HxpWfA
- WhoDoneIt, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0Yup, the title pretty much sums it all up!
- Puntas13, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0What kind of bikes are those?
- cyrix, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Hard tails with usually a minor front suspension set up. Trek, Specialized, Haro and Gary Fisher have some good trial bikes.
- nthitz, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Amen, Brother!
- cep59186, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0Here we will see the last of the rad BMX dudes from the mid-1980's.
- nixonic, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0no, you won't
- OldSchmitty81, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1YES WE WILL!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTyKhLPf62U
- Kornstalx, on 07/24/2008, -0/+6I can ride my bike with no handlebars.
No handlebars.
No handlebars.- scojerroc, on 07/24/2008, -1/+3but can you ride your bike without a seat?
without a seat?
without a seat?
- scojerroc, on 07/24/2008, -1/+3but can you ride your bike without a seat?
- RG13, on 07/24/2008, -1/+4Lame. I could make most of those jumps without even using a bike.
- Disease, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1That's not as cool.
- Disease, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I declare hax.
- jowSithm, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0Trials is by far the most mentally satisfying (and frustrating), and physically challenging forms of riding I have ever done. Screw the gym, take up that sport for a workout! (But only if you have a decent bank account, the learning curve is EXPENSIVE!)
- Tekmazter, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I don't know ... for some more serious skills, Google The Unbeatable Banzuke and look for Super Rider I, II, or III. Strolling about the park is one thing. Doing it in front of hundreds of people and with a timer is another.
Oh WTH ... give this a go: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids. ...
and this too: http://www.blinkx.com/video/unbeatable-banzuke-sup ...- aelias, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Banzuke is the *****. I love Japanese physical challenge shows. I love shows where nobody wins because it's just so ***** hard. Every once in a while, someone pulls it off and I feel like cheering for them myself.
- Jerk, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Ryan Leech is okay, but he's no Hans Rey.
- DesoNoto, on 07/24/2008, -1/+0Damn, there's so much old ***** on Digg nowadays. :/
- sunhaze, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1PHOTOSHOPED!
- RMoore08, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Shadows are all wrong.
- chaos7, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5did you guys notice that bike has NO SEAT
- elveis, on 07/24/2008, -0/+3I didn't, but after watching it again it's obvious the boys would get torn to shreds with some of the positions he gets in.
- scojerroc, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1yeah, i didnt notice until the last ten seconds. trials motorcycles dont have seats, either.
furthermore, this looks like a NORMAL bike without a seat... do they make trials bicycles? with the rear wheel that extends further from the frame than normal?
- scojerroc, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1yeah, i didnt notice until the last ten seconds. trials motorcycles dont have seats, either.
- elveis, on 07/24/2008, -0/+3I didn't, but after watching it again it's obvious the boys would get torn to shreds with some of the positions he gets in.
- peaceninja, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1god i can hardly jump a curb on my bike with my fat ass
- borez, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Join the circus then
/feeling cynical tonight - memper, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0Bicycling. You're doing it wrong.
/sarcasm - quizzy, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0has anyone on digg actually seen the internet before 2006?
