- ahoy, on 10/15/2007, -0/+6I wanna see the performances they did with the Beatles music
- goonbaggins, on 10/22/2007, -0/+5That's not the Beatles show. The Beatles show is called Love, and you're describing O, which is based around water.
I've seen Love, and it's absolutely wonderful especially if you enjoy the music of the Beatles. You really can't go wrong with anything Cirque du Soleil though. - huggybarrel, on 10/22/2007, -0/+5travel to Las Vegas, it's playing there nightly
- Acqua206, on 10/15/2007, -1/+6And I was so proud when I could finally pat my head and rub my belly at the same time.
Don't these guys ever have a ***** day at work? What if Ms. Contortionist was feeling a bit bloated from her period and how about if Mr. Walking on a rotating circle had a little too much to drink the night previous? If you ***** up, you die..thats a lot of pressure. - dmcipod, on 10/15/2007, -1/+6oddly enough, i just finished watching Corteo live here in Los Angeles, I log onto digg and to my pleasant surprise i find this :-)
- uberlord, on 10/19/2007, -0/+3I simply can't wait to go see this show, when I was young my parents took me to see it in LA, it's come to Orange County and I'm overwhelmed with anxiety. These shows are simply AMAZING in person. The videos don't do it justice
- Malakin, on 10/22/2007, -0/+3Cirque is one of those things in life that has to be seen in person.
I thought it was amazing in person, but watching it on video just doesn't interest me. - uberlord, on 10/15/2007, -0/+3There's a show in Vegas featuring nothing but The Beatles.
- Unclickable, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2the majority of the performance artists are not Quebecians
- scojerroc, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2i saw alegria a few years ago. i gave my girlfriend a hula hoop shortly afterward and asked her to start practicing.
- suxmonkey, on 10/15/2007, -5/+7Watch 'em all at once or save 'em for a rainy day - either way, you simply must bookmark and watch them!
- Mutton, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2Forgot Anthony Gatto: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlORbDOjTeU
- beckermt, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2Cirque has revived circus! Vive la crazy ***** spectacles of pushing the limits of man.
- didiman, on 10/23/2007, -0/+1Agreed. I have seen 4 different shows. Each of them was different and amazing.
- tanuki0, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1I remember seeing Saltimbanco a few years ago. Simply amazing, these people are more than artists.
- d3sp, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1That fire juggler was fn badass!!
- Noctem, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1I've already got my tickets for the Hartford showing of 'Kooza' in April. Can't wait!
- markdr123, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1Love.
I saw it earlier this year - fantastic. - diggggggggggg, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1Seeing these performances once in a while helps keep my physical capability standards from sinking too low.
- Jushooter, on 10/15/2007, -1/+2Actually it's « Québécois ».
A quebec-digger :) - Durinthal, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Uh.. what? The music in their shows is some of the most unique and enjoyable I've ever listened to.
- Seidoger, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1Most of the show designers are, however!
- uberlord, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1Glad to hear that =)
- Dakart, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1lol same here! JUST saw it Sunday afternoon. Pretty awesome show, huh?
- dmcipod, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1oh trust me its worth the wait
- CaptainSponge, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1There is some serious respect goin on this side of the monitor. These people are sub- human for their talent. That hand balancing woman had me with my mouth hanging open.
- BarbaraKolbe, on 10/15/2007, -3/+3Great collection of videos - dugg!
- uberlord, on 10/15/2007, -4/+4Most tasteless close-minded digger on Earth
- dairien, on 10/15/2007, -1/+1Corteo doesn'tt come down to San Diego until January =[
- peterthecock, on 10/15/2007, -0/+0Magical circus
- wautrey, on 10/15/2007, -0/+0Don't you mean "proto" human? Sub-human would imply that they are less than human.
- uberlord, on 10/15/2007, -1/+1I haven't seen it myself, but I hear the water effect is amazing, the acrobats are dancing around diving into this pool of water, and apparently there's no splash and it has a very surreal feeling to it.
- geogia456, on 10/20/2007, -0/+0Really? I wanted invited my girlfriend i found at millionairematch.com months ago. can i?
- krets, on 10/15/2007, -1/+1The Magic Digg-Ball says: Yes.
- toxicredm, on 10/19/2007, -1/+1In what ***** up world would Cirque du Soleil be considered an extreme sport, much less a sport at all?
- ghoch, on 02/14/2008, -0/+0Not bad!

- strikerInsane, on 10/15/2007, -2/+1Cirque du Soleil < Théâtre du Soleil
- DCGaymer, on 10/15/2007, -3/+1Crap...another Digg double post ....grrrr
- bonjourmr, on 04/25/2008, -4/+1Crazy Quebecians.
- Frostman3D, on 10/16/2007, -4/+1I didn't attack you personally. I don't like the show, many people don't. That's doesn't make me closed minded, that just means I've made a decision that the show blows chunks.
- tw2737, on 10/15/2007, -5/+1Cirque Du Soleil is the work of satan. The ***** they do makes me go wtf.
- DCGaymer, on 11/01/2007, -5/+1I won't see Cirque ...anything...in 2002 they fired a talented gymnast (Mathew Cusick, http://www.matthewcusick.com/ ) because he was HIV positive. Not because he was unable to perform, not because he was a bad gymnast...but because he'd been exposed to the the HIV virus.
Not until Cirque had been dragged through the federal and state courts system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cirque_du_Soleil#Lega ... did they finally "see the light" and start a coporate anti discrimination training program. That given....It's been my experience that organizations that discriminate don't change because of a program...or law for that matter. They usually only change when the manager's and owner's that were in charge are gone...either through death, retirement or resignation....Until I see a MAJOR organization (HRC, Lambda Defense, ACLU) give Cirque an endorsement I won't see cirque anything...and I encourage you not to either.
Don't be distracted by the pretty lights, beautiful people and incredible performances onstage. The men behind the corporate curtains are still the same. - inactive, on 10/16/2007, -7/+2truly incredible, but why does their music have to be so incredibly sucky?

And Circue du Soleil in the Extreme Sports section? Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a ***** about the rules?
- evilevil, on 10/15/2007, -7/+1still ROFLing hard at the music....
and wtf are the nerds doing there STARING and wearing way too much make up?
