- SpiritOfRock, on 06/09/2009, -2/+5When I saw "Solar car racing" I thought about a level in Star Fox 64.
- ChuckDiesel, on 06/10/2009, -0/+3First, Michigan's cars have been able to top 70mph for a long time, at least since 2001, and probably before that. The last car had a top speed of 88mph. Michigan has also been using the same basic body style for just as long (so you could say that guy copied Michigan). I actually don't see a single feature on his car that wasn't copied or heavily influenced from someone else. Michigan's car is also built for sustained high speed travel, which that guy's car isn't capable of. Michigan's car also needs to comply with many design and safety regulations for the races it competes in. Finally, that guy hasn't gone 5x the distance, either, only about twice the distance. There's no reason Michigan's car couldn't go that far, they just don't have a reason to.
- inactive, on 06/10/2009, -0/+3Need version for fat asses
- JustLoren, on 06/10/2009, -0/+1Are there legal aliens that the CIA allows to roam free?!
- elijahyossie, on 06/10/2009, -1/+2Very, very cool. I'd love to drive one!
- elijahyossie, on 06/10/2009, -0/+1I'd still love to drive one, and you obviously want to as well, or you wouldn't do it lol
- RLeviathen, on 06/10/2009, -0/+1I am on a solar race car team for the university of waterloo, and I can tell you, they are very uncomfortable to drive! They get very hot inside and there is very little room to move.
- dwalker, on 06/10/2009, -8/+2OK, I will have one when can drive it and not get arrested by the CIA as an illegal alien...
- apathysucks, on 06/10/2009, -10/+2HOW IS THIS NEWSWORHTY when this GUY, (a single dude) can hit 70mph, and has gone more than 5x the distance in a car that looks like U of Michigan ripped off?
