- ttavenner, on 06/14/2008, -0/+1This is a great approach consumer advocacy. My worry though, as the article mentions, is that it won't be either sustainable or scalable. People will participate in an event like this once or twice but will lose interest. Online communities are fickle that way. I also don't think this would work outside of a regional level, for the same reason that boycotts don't work on a larger scale. Still, I think there could be a great wave of activism across the country before that point is reached. It seems from the description of the program like the amount of co-ordination necessary is high.
