- Sublex, on 03/21/2009, -1/+69An excellent Penn and Teller episode about bottled water:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfPAjUvvnIc - agentsrecord, on 03/21/2009, -6/+63Why don't they spend that money towards a tatto that says, "I am an *****?"
- heynow21, on 03/22/2009, -2/+48Bling. Even if I were a millionaire who wanted to show off I'd be embarrassed to carry around something with that on the label.
- f4nt0m4s, on 03/22/2009, -5/+45Nothing says "I'm a huge dick" like buying some BlingH20...why not donate 55 bucks to the third world countries where people walk a mile to a well to get a bucket of dirty water?
- juttman, on 03/21/2009, -5/+45Some people are so ***** stupid. Find a charity, losers.
- greatmunizzle, on 03/22/2009, -0/+36"Paris Hilton was let her dog drink it"
Me English is good. fail. - maxlightz, on 03/22/2009, -4/+32i dunno guys, if paris hilton was let her dog drink it, then maybe it good water
- kavery, on 03/22/2009, -0/+23The name alone would subscribe me to the notion that the people who would actually drink this deserve to get ripped off.
- mattyboy555, on 03/22/2009, -2/+25How is babby formed?
- MicrosoftAccess, on 03/22/2009, -0/+23Her beaver doesn't need to be capitalized, it ain't proper
- mattyboy555, on 03/22/2009, -1/+228 out of 10 douchebags prefer the taste of Bling H20!
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -2/+22All bottled water is an eco disaster, besides the fact that the water held in the bottles is of lower quality than average american tap water, the plastic bottles are terrible for the environment.
- f4nt0m4s, on 03/22/2009, -0/+19Woo! All this computer hacking is making me thirsty. I think I'll order a TAB.
- heynow21, on 03/22/2009, -0/+19http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0101831/
Quite the writer/producer. - Apocalyptk, on 03/22/2009, -2/+21Wat is ta porpose for scool. is thier a point for it?
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -9/+25Like buying a Mac
- twiztidsinz, on 03/22/2009, -1/+17taP water
- GREEDOnvrFIRED, on 03/22/2009, -3/+19Shouldn't this article be about Fiji water. Or any other "normally" priced bottled water? They are not fads, They are not small time schemes. Bling is LESS of a culprit because it is SO inaccessible. You don't have to worry about how many millions of units will be sold because it is priced out of most consumers' reach.
If anything Leo Hickman has chosen Bling because it is so easy to attack the rich and their outrageous spending habits (especially lately.) And it makes for a more interesting and enraging read. But the fact is that Bling is less harmful than most bottled water brands because it is priced to make the most money possible while shipping the least water possible. - JakeyG14, on 03/22/2009, -0/+16"it ain't proper"
Truer words have never been spoken. - kizmar, on 03/22/2009, -1/+16Mmmm... http://boxedwaterisbetter.com
- NeoTechni, on 03/22/2009, -0/+14*****, $55 could get them a water purifier to clean enough water to last them weeks
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -13/+27Ok Mac users line up please...
- coastiefish, on 03/22/2009, -0/+14"Bling H2O is the inspiration of Kevin G Boyd, Hollywood writer-producer"
Done. Enough. Next? - UnterDenLinden, on 03/22/2009, -6/+19But you still pay great deals of money for no reason.
- ousthouse, on 03/22/2009, -1/+13Tab water? I don't know about their water, but their cola tastes pretty bad.
- ReDoEr, on 03/22/2009, -0/+11because, obviously, such a public notice would be unnecessary. The act of drinking a $55 bottle of water or of being Paris Hilton already announces it loud and clear.
- Rtibbitts07, on 03/22/2009, -1/+11The words "Environmental Madness" should appear in more articles on Digg.
- panacean, on 03/22/2009, -1/+11Blame the idiots buying it.
- tgc1, on 03/22/2009, -0/+9If you want a tab you've got to order something!
- dlan4327, on 03/22/2009, -0/+9I buy a bottle of water maybe once a week then keep refilling it.
I got pissed off when my friend told me instead of paying $1.83 for Mount Franklin water,
I could've been paying $0.79 for Franklins bottled water. - kerouac906, on 03/22/2009, -0/+9So let me get this straight. I go to see a movie and pay $10 for a ticket. So do millions of other people. The main actors in said movie make millions of dollars. With their millions of dollars they feel it is best spent on bottles of water that cost more than a week of my groceries.
I think I'm glad I stopped going to the movies. - EnderMB, on 03/22/2009, -0/+9Me fail English? That's unpossible!
Oh c'mon! It had to be done. - garlicdeath, on 03/22/2009, -0/+9My tap water sucks so I drink Aquafina. I then use my plastic bottles to construct walls in my fort. The fort is also used to house local homeless people who are used as feed to sustain the local Aquafina workers at our nearby plant. 100% efficiency for all you green farts.
- kingofkolt, on 03/22/2009, -0/+8I accidentally a Bling H2O bottle, is this bad?
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -1/+9 maybe it berry good water
- EnderMB, on 03/22/2009, -0/+8Here's an idea. Cities around the world should buy bottled water in bulk and store it in vast cisterns, then dispense it in homes and other buildings through some wall-mounted valve. I'll invent it after I've invented my expensive brick tent and motionless escalator.
- 1shawn, on 03/22/2009, -0/+8Would you like a side of Valtrex with that?
- Chompy, on 03/22/2009, -3/+11Environmental madness? THIS. IS. SP-well actually yeah, that is kinda nuts. Carry on.
- Nouman6, on 03/22/2009, -4/+12no one wants your dick in their ass
- twiztidsinz, on 03/22/2009, -2/+9Trolls can die... of eating their own ass.
- Goombellaofgoom, on 03/22/2009, -2/+9This article doesn't say much about Bling H2O's *ecological* impact. It covers what Bling is, the creator's premise for making it, and its cultural impact... but not how it's bad for the environment.
In fact, there's only one sentence (buried in the second paragraph) that even mentions the environment at all.
Kind of an interesting story, but buried for false advertising. - slashdotordigg, on 03/22/2009, -0/+7I don't understand why people bother buying any bottled water, ever. I have $7 water filter that lasts for 2 months or 200 gallons of water. and i bought $5 water bottle made with safe copolyester polymer, Tritan. I don't understand ever, why people spend a lot of money buying boxes of bottled water and bother carrying that out of store. I wouldn't serve bottled water to my guests even outside. Filters are not expensive. if you have $55, don't drink it. i would rather go buy good aged wine or actual cd of your favorite indie artist. do something more useful.
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -0/+7then buy brita water filters; it's still cheaper than bottled
- themastersb, on 03/22/2009, -0/+7I bought a bottle of water priced at $15 the other day and I found that it was much more wet and watery than regular water.
- dhughes, on 03/22/2009, -0/+6"...a blind taste test revealed it was indistinguishable from tap water."
Try that test in Scranton, Pa.! - ZeeZee2k, on 03/22/2009, -0/+6My Bling TP will have diamonds on it. Sure some of you will get a bloody anus, but you will be wiping your ass in style.
- TomTruelle, on 03/22/2009, -2/+8*insert witty remark about a typo here*
we all knew what he meant, move the ***** on - sanskrtam, on 03/22/2009, -1/+7Yeah, as ridiculous as the Kabbalah water
- UnterDenLinden, on 03/22/2009, -0/+6Fanboys are fun to watch
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -0/+5Its paris hilton man. she's not a movie star, she's just famous for getting ***** by some guy and for being a party slut. it shouldn't surprise you that somebody as worthless as her would buy $55 bottles of water for her dog.
