- vsujohn2, on 07/20/2009, -2/+37Confusing Infographic is confusing.
- poitzort, on 07/20/2009, -2/+13Crappy info-flashgraphic. The flashy flash gets in the way of the information. Therefore, crappy info-flashgraphic is crappy. Didn't school teach you not to use effects and animation for its own sake? I learned that in second grade.
- undervalued, on 07/20/2009, -0/+9***** perusing this, I've never seen a harmony in more disharmony.
- SilasTomorrow, on 07/20/2009, -0/+8Brought to you by the corporate giant Toyota.
No, really. - XkenX87, on 07/20/2009, -0/+7Lotta special effects not much show.
- inactive, on 07/20/2009, -3/+9This is the second time I found this "Harmony" graphic on here, and either there isn't a graphic showing which countries are using renewable energy, or it's thoroughly buried by the obtuse navigation. Either way, this doesn't seem to be a genuinely informative submission, but instead a kind of misdirected, idealistic, Utopian propaganda tool.
Buried. - RSS14, on 07/20/2009, -0/+6I closed the screen because of the obnoxious and confusing infographic.
- pfhayter, on 07/20/2009, -0/+5I didn't read it, its too convoluted for me to care about it. But to all those submitting wizard hats and calling them infographics take note that THIS, no matter how gaudy, is an infographic.
- KingGorilla, on 07/20/2009, -0/+4Very rarely do infographics work at graphing information
- tbhurst, on 07/20/2009, -0/+4Whoa. There is a LOT going on in there.
- greendigger, on 07/20/2009, -0/+3Yeah renewable in Millions of years, or say 10,000 generations of humans!
- lothar250, on 07/20/2009, -0/+3So... did anybody actually learn what renewable energy sources the world is using? I sure didn't.
- kwynn87, on 07/20/2009, -2/+5Oil is renewable right?
- Jdban, on 07/20/2009, -0/+3compare that to building hoover dam
- HiSirHi, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Just takes a looooong ass time to renew it... longer then we have.
- Xcrion, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2The German flag in the "infographic" is a Belgium flag!!
THAT'S THE GERMAN FLAG:
http://www.theglobaljobs.com/images/articles/Flag% ... - inactive, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Glad I'm not the only one. I gave up on it after about 30 seconds.
- Barackalypse, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Actually, given the stupidly large amounts of dirt poor people in South America, Africa, India, and China, the answer is wood, and they aren't generating power with it, they're cooking and heating with it. And despite being renewable, its horribly inefficient from a usable energy output versus CO2 emission perspective, proving that just because something is renewable, doesn't make it environmentally friendly.
- xenuxenuts, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" applies here.
- Barackalypse, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Have you ever seen a gigawatt generating facility that didn't cost a fortune to set up? You think you can generate a gigawatt every hour with a coal, natural has, solar, wind, hydro, or any other type of plant that didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars to build?
- ThatsNotPoetry, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2I was promised a "graphic" depicting the countries using renewable energy sources. I didn't even search through that confusing jumble long enough to find out. The subject is great so I won't bury, but god damnit, man.
- saywat2587, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Wasn't there something similar to this set up posted before? I hated before and
I hate it now. - anthropodeus, on 07/20/2009, -1/+2cheapest? oh, really? last time i checked, it cost a fortune to set up a plant.
- greendigger, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Website sponsored by Toyota Prius....and it is not obvious from the get go, lots of eye candy!
- inactive, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1How about they just make a simple list of the Energy sources and the countries being the highest to lowest users of it.
Buried for not knowing what the hell is going on in that graph. - DerekTrucksBand, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1nuke power?
- Jdban, on 07/20/2009, -2/+3Just go to nuclear. Its cleanest, safest and cheapest.
- SirBruce, on 07/20/2009, -1/+2Buried for not including nuclear power. Please, stop digging up this left-wing propaganda.
- thcobbs, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Technically, wood-fired stoves are renewable energy sources as well.
- oli5993, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1The German flag is wrong !
It's supposed to be (top-to-bottom): black, red, gold (or yellow, but Germans say gold); not black, gold, red - yaosio, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Yes, you just have to squeeze really hard.
- SirBruce, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1By using fast breeder reactors, we can make enough Uranium to last for the lifetime of the sun. It's therefore as renewable as solar energy.
- Jikul, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Last time I checked, the World had a lot more countries than that.
- yaosio, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1get out
- LastDawnofMan, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Badly designed graphic. Don't have time for this crap. Buried.
- TheLordOfBlah, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Sure nuclear power is efficient as *****, but how is it either clean or renewable?
- pfhayter, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1*your
- JLMEALER, on 07/22/2009, -0/+0Soon... WE will all be off-grid and driving the MEALER AUTOMOBILE.
I say this to try to throw out a glimmer of hope due to the downfall of the hype from six months ago.

http://mealercompanies.com - PoliticalMan922, on 07/20/2009, -5/+5Renewable energy sources are a good way of keeping the environment cleaner. I wish more were using them.
- pfhayter, on 07/20/2009, -3/+1You're grade two class was weird, I think I learned colors and basic match and writing.
- Stuffburger, on 07/20/2009, -4/+2Let me summarize for those of you who don't want to poke through that damn too small window on the infographic:
Hydroelectric dams are the only renewable energy source that produces any real amount of energy, and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.
