(won't the book that he writes create trash?) Some of the extremes they go to seem rather silly, for instance, one day when they "cheated" by eating in a restaurant and their child was served water in a paper cup with a straw. They sent the cup back saying, "We’re trying not to make any trash." In fact, they have created more impact on the environment, because the restaurant likely just threw that cup out ... and then the glass that would be used needed to be washed afterward. Seems like they're more interested in *appearing* to be low-impact rather than *actually* being low-impact.
- magicjava, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A bear and a rabbit are sitting in the woods. The bears asks the rabbit "Do you have problems with ***** sticking to your fur?" The rabbit gives the bear an insulted look and says "Absolutely not".
So the bear wipes his ass with the rabbit. - angrykeyboarder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Strangely the article fails to mention what this family used *instead* of Toilet Paper.....

(Nothing is a substitute for toilet paper, by the way; think of bowls of water and lots of air drying.)
