The eco freak problem is a subset of the greater problem. If this was dealt with on a market, priavte property basis we likely wouldn't be facing this. Get government, the greatest polluter, out of the realm of owning and managing property much like with the levees in New Orleans and hand it over to accountable private property owners and these matters will greatly improve.
