- MacBookForMe, on 11/12/2009, -0/+6Wow, that was a very good & extensive solar powered read...a pure Fav!
- Alheithinn, on 11/12/2009, -1/+6Sun, wind, waves...we have all kinds of energy lying around...and we'd have plenty of access to it if the big businesses controlling our energy could find a way to own these.
- amanraj, on 11/12/2009, -0/+5Interesting news.
- s73v3r, on 11/12/2009, -0/+2Sir, you have a 2:30 fitting for your solar panel suit.
- Nerys, on 11/12/2009, -0/+2great article. I am skeptical of srecs though. seems ponzi like to me.
want to really get solar going? pour cash into Nano Solar and get those 90cent a watt panels into CONSUMER HANDS NOW.
At that price I will cover every square inch in solar panels. - lurrch1, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1I don't see wave/tidal power taking off anytime soon. Surely it has to be much more costly to maintain equipment that is constantly submerged in salt water.
- Alheithinn, on 11/12/2009, -1/+2If somebody would put some money into it but the energy suppliers are making money where they're at. I don't know how difficult it is to maintain but there are countries that are currently using wave power. Very efficient - we never run out of waves. In the end, we don't have much choice. We can't go on indefinitely using fossil fuels.
- Nerys, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1thats about the same thing as creating fiat currency. ie printing money.
since WHO THE ***** PAYS FOR THE JOBS THEY CREATE.
NO the states and feds need to SPEND LESS orders of magnitude less. REGULATE LESS control corporations MORE. Good Sound monetary policy.
let SOCIETY FIX ITSELF.
but as long as 1.5% control 95% of the wealth well thats not going to happen any time soon. - Kate1240, on 11/12/2009, -1/+2How about.. States pursue new ways to.. CREATE JOBS!!!
- Nerys, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1they are thin enough. you know something that might actually work. would not make much power but would be a hell of a way to publicize the idea.
