- ekin09, on 11/30/2007, -1/+2We will see more and more companies moving away from the old paradigm as society becomes more accepting, but I think to many BIG corporations are reliant on "environmental degradation" for it to go away easily, if at all.
- ekin09, on 11/30/2007, -0/+1You have to put it all into perspective... This problem is far too large to fix in our life time. These corporations create millions of jobs and generate billions in revenue, once you start taking away from that, you upset a lot of people, people with power. These people lack the foresight to see exactly they are doing to destroy the earth they live in; all they are concerned with is themselves. It will take someone who is strong, protected and completely detached from the current politics to take on these companies, and it will have to be drastic.
