  • pamsmom, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Being a classic car owner, I am slightly biased. In the grand scheme of things, most muscle car, and classic car owner use their vehicles very infrequently. Mostly on the weekends for a short cruise, maybe once or twice a month during nice weather.

    I can't see the occasional pleasure drive, making that much of an impact when I look at the whole gas useage picture.

    An SUV, used as a daily driver gets an average of 14 mpg, which is equivalent and even less than most classic cars.
