- basye, on 09/14/2008, -0/+17Excellent find, let's hope these little things keep reproducing. Costa Rica is one of my favorite vacation spots, btw.

- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -0/+4Great! I hope we can learn more about these sensitive animals that are used as a bio indicators of the heath of our environment.
- lornali, on 09/15/2008, -0/+4Great!
- bennovw, on 09/14/2008, -0/+3DUDE! RTFA The scientists captured this little girl to breed these frogs in captivity. This frog is like the mother of all frogs man. She pretty much saved her species of oblivion.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -1/+4Remember the frog in the salad bag? lol
- Chrispydivine, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3My friend hates frogs but I think they are pretty cool...this one is wild..
- davidhenz, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2that's so great!
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -0/+1I think you need to get more information about the "survival of the finest"'s Darwinian theory. Read a little bit about reasons for extension, and ecology. You can not focus just on "likable animals" and frogs as well as insects are considered the best bioindicators of the environmental problems (such Global warming) that humans are creating.
- inactive, on 09/22/2008, -0/+0Good!
- JustinBobby08, on 09/19/2008, -0/+0It amazing what one little frog can mean to the whole eco-balance thing!! Crazy!
- mrzeus1, on 09/14/2008, -5/+1Uhhh, I'm glad the little frog is alive and all, but what did the scientists do to save it? They caught it, photographed it, and let it go. Did they pull it out of the mouth of a croc? Did they take it away from their cook who was going to have it for dinner? So, I don't see any "saving" going on.
- kd420, on 09/14/2008, -6/+1I don't get all this "saving" species from extinction. It was dying from a skin fungus, are you going to find a cure for that? Why not nature take its course and select frogs that survive. What about if a mould starts going extinct due to a bacteria or something, gonna bring that into captivity and save it too? To me, it seems like a personal hobby, saving the likable animals. Just like people care about baby seals, because they're cute. If it was a man made problem, that's one thing, but for every species you try and save, you ignore another.
- baillingskater, on 09/14/2008, -8/+1they should have let it die
- MasterRex, on 09/14/2008, -9/+2 It's just a frog; what's the big deal? There are thousands of other species to replace it.
