venturebeat.com — With the help of Recurrent Energy, San Francisco is getting solar panels installed on the empty roof of the covered Sunset Reservoir in the western portion of the city, with a about 250 kilowatts going into a separate installation at Pier 96. This will hopefully pave the way for other municipal power plants to do the same!
