We set pollution and labor standards for ourselves, but then did nothing to stop our companies from having production handled overseas, where such standards don't exist. The planet still gets polluted, slave labor still exists, we just don't have to see it.

When it forgets that the U.S. has pretty much matched the pollution caused by having to manufacture everything in the world by being retardedly wasteful with how they live. We need 11 more Earths if everyone in the world lives like Americans and Canadians (who waste even more than Americans).

China's pollution is predicted to triple US pollution in 2016.

Too many regulations here. None there. Blind market forces channel production to the place where it is cheaper.
Remove regulations here, jobs and production and pollution will be back here as it is cheaper not to ship things around.
