- InfinitySnatch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+79Wow. I've never even thought about sleeping in a forest in Angola until now. I guess I'd better think again.
- Bob042, on 10/12/2007, -1/+68Wow... That website offers web design services.
With a main page like this: http://www.stressbuster1.com/index.html , I hope they don't charge too much... - TheAkolyte, on 10/12/2007, -3/+70Because I always had plans to spend the night in the African wilderness.
- Loonacy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+64According to the Snopes article, it's from Silent Valley Game Ranch in South Africa, not Exxon/Mobile.
- punkrockxtian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+55I don't know what's worse... the snake in the electrical fence, or the yellow on blue comic sans.
- DonSlice, on 10/12/2007, -2/+51Cool picture. Innacturate story... I'm torn!
- acetv, on 10/12/2007, -2/+47COMIC. SANS.
*eyes glow red* - EBFoxbat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+42Am I the only one that wouldn't think *once* about sleeping in a forest in a Angola?
- Lijiman, on 10/12/2007, -5/+42He should start working out...he seems a bit on the heavy side.
- kanemano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33They found an Impala inside, but looks like it had enough room for a Cadillac
- ahawks, on 10/12/2007, -3/+34A) Snakes have been around a lot longer than a year*
B) You mean they're, a contraction for "they are"
* Yes, I know you were referring to the pictures. - gr3yn3t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30Was I the only one who thought a bloody exorcist child was going to scream at me once i scrolled down?
- airiox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+32Wow, that thing is packing a rather large meal...
- foshizol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26http://www.bushveld.co.za/pictures-python.htm
Shows where the snake actually came from. - Lane, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25Exxon/Mobile is going after snake oil now?
- punkrockxtian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22that's the best website i've ever seen.
- lemorex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21I was expecting numerous things, but not a giant snake with an open jaw stuck in an electric fence.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER -0-0-
MUSHROOM MUSHROOM _tt_
~SNAAAKKE ITS A SNAAAAKE ! = - Chickenlip, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18It's actually quite a shame ... Pythons are actually very friendly snakes, and not too common.
By friendly, I mean, they are easy to domesticate, and are very cool pets. Cases of pythons attacking humans are quite rare, as we're so big.
I actually owned a Burmese Python at one point in my life, and it grew up to 14 feet. She fed on rabbits and chickens mostly, and was super-tame. I would take her out at parties and lets folks pass her around the room and play with her. I would even take her to the park to let her play in the grass ... granted, when a dog owner showed up, I would normally move far far away, or leave. But, I usually kept her very very well fed, so I don't think she would have attacked a dog... - InfinitySnatch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Come to Kenya. We've got lions. Where can you see lions?
Only in Kenya. - SultanTravi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I'll keep this in mind the next time I head over to Angola to sleep in the middle of nowhere.
- InfinitySnatch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15This would only work if people regularly ate snakes.
- TedTschopp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15http://www.bushveld.co.za/pictures-python.htm
For more pictures from the actual source, including the skinned snake. - missswiss, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Haha, hilarious.
I guess I should call my travel agent and cancel my trip. Darn. - InfinitySnatch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13But they would if they could. But they can't so they shan't!
Holy *****. My spell check actually recognizes shan't as a word. - capellathestar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12http://www.stressbuster1.com/awards/awards.html - 404. Well, THERE's a shocker.
- hilo4321, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15i think everyone should complain every time an article hits digg more than once
- Pingspike, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15loaf of bread, sprinkle of salt and maybe a dash of ketchup is all thats needed for that beasty.
- ibeattetris, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11i'm in your fence
stealin your electrics - john2kx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Yes, preferably 6,000 miles away.
- Jade10145, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Honestly, I feel bad for the snake..
- abid786, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10"if they couldn't they probably wouldn't."
Of course, if they can't then they are not going to.... - giid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Didn't Mythbusters already do this one and prove your penis isn't that big?
- dosle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12this article assumes that
1. you are planning on sleeping in a forest
2. you know where Angola is - bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9plus you got to use the 'later maybe I could show you my python' line a lot too, I bet
- SuburbanDave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I got a kick out of a snake article being on a .asp page. I think I need to cut back a bit on the Red Bull.
- DontEatTheFish, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9i dont get it, why cant i sleep there? because of the electric fence? if they are worried about that, ill just sleep AWAY from it.
- rewen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Ah I see from the snopes link that there's an Impala Ewe in there. Very nice. Sneaky sneaky..
- MrBeanie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8The poor snake is dead. Look at the burnt flesh in his mouth, he was badly electrocuted. This makes me sad. What a horrible way to die.
- Junkyarddawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Feh. Just a python.
@gr3yn3t: No, you weren't. - BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wow.
