- wocca, on 01/09/2008, -0/+4Yes, I really hope that solar power starts to become affordable soon.
- ruchirkc, on 01/10/2008, -0/+2Nanotech rules! Solar power isn't that expensive though, if you consider costs over a longer period....
- pmctosh, on 01/10/2008, -0/+2It's about time. Affordable solar power one step closer.

- socialpyramid, on 01/10/2008, -0/+1Yeah, once the old fossil-fuel barrons have less power over society, I'm hoping everything will become more equitable.
- davidconnell, on 01/10/2008, -0/+1We really need renewables to become cost effective, or we're never going to make it. Let's hope this is one of the steps we need to making that a reality. It may take more government subsidies though to truly get there.
- TimBurns, on 02/07/2008, -0/+0As someone pointed out, Solar panels have a very large "Out of the gate" cost, meaning its expensive for the initial set up and instliation. But they recoup there cost over 10 fold in the long run.
