- nyx210, on 10/31/2009, -3/+82Yeah, that's great, but MY lawnmover doesn't leave ***** all over my yard...
- Doctoxicated, on 10/31/2009, -4/+71You can actually do the same thing in Scotland only there they call it prostitution.
- borez, on 10/31/2009, -0/+39Read: Natural fertiliser factories
- protodon, on 10/31/2009, -0/+33Goats don't eat grass you need sheep for that. Goats eat all kinds of weeds and big leafed plants though as the pictures demonstrate.
- mal7798, on 10/31/2009, -1/+25Really YOU had to put 'u'?
- itsdelightful, on 10/31/2009, -1/+25They've been doing this for quite some time now. I don't think lawn maintenance has ever been so adorable.
- versualize, on 10/31/2009, -2/+20What if you just want to ***** a goat? Does the offer still stand?
- rsh28630, on 10/31/2009, -0/+17The article specifically mentions 'invisible electric fence'.
- StuartGibson, on 10/31/2009, -0/+16Google use goats: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/05/mowing-with ...
- MikaStar, on 10/31/2009, -0/+16love the idea, but having grandparents who owned a lot of goats, they like to eat everything and I mean everything......the weeds, the overgrown grass, your beautiful flower garden, paper, anything they can find.....but on the whole, they're very sweet animals.
- StuartGibson, on 10/31/2009, -0/+14Leave them chained up for the T-Rex.
- Tarkaan, on 10/31/2009, -0/+14I'm not falling for that again. Last time, I didn't get my deposit back.
- CanIGetAWitness, on 10/31/2009, -1/+14George Clooney has his hand in this, don't know how, but if you stare at it long enough, it seems right.
- MRAS, on 10/31/2009, -1/+13Renting a goat is great but they usually prefer you have a lawn
- spiralspirit, on 10/31/2009, -0/+12eat the difference!
- HenryKillinger, on 10/31/2009, -2/+13Everything looks ***** post-goats.

- heavyj1970, on 10/31/2009, -1/+11people have sex with wales?
/s - haikuFU, on 10/31/2009, -0/+9My buddy tried this. The ***** things kept the grass short, but they also ate his flowers, bushes, garden hose, siding off the house, kids toys, and basically everything else they could find that wasn't grass.
He still has them, but they are limited to a fenced off area now. - SpamHat, on 10/31/2009, -4/+13Greedy little f**kers, arn't they?
How can you be sure they won't wander off and mess up someone's garden? - sarahlee, on 10/31/2009, -0/+8Ah, so that is why he was reading "My Pet Goat!" Reading up on the competition.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 11/01/2009, -0/+8I believe zoomaKaby was questioning whether or not nature can properly be said to have intentions... be an unintelligent, if elegant, way of existence rather than a consciousness capable of having wants and desires.

- protodon, on 10/31/2009, -0/+6where's the goat?
- nevinl, on 11/01/2009, -0/+6Does anyone WANT a goat?
We have a goat that wondered onto our farm after it got away from the local farmer's auction (they didn't even want it back). It's cute and all (lays down on top of our horses when the sleep), but the @*%#(% ate one of our $150 trees that we put in 3 years ago. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU - Heavenfall, on 11/01/2009, -1/+7Really you had to put "YOU"?
- takeda13, on 10/31/2009, -1/+6really u had to put [/s]?

- cruelsniper, on 10/31/2009, -3/+8intended |inˈtendid|
adjective [ attrib. ]
planned or meant : the intended victim escaped. - Caergrim, on 10/31/2009, -0/+5Goats are pretty well known for being able to defeat measures to keep them in a certain area. I cannot imagine a rope being all that effective.
- randalicious, on 10/31/2009, -1/+5are they fainting goats?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we9_CdNPuJg - emjaymj, on 10/31/2009, -1/+5"Goats on the other hand run for however long goats live and probably put near the same volume of methane per day into the air as a lawnmower uses in one session."
Well, good to know your science is sound and that you're not just making silly conjectures. - sarahlee, on 10/31/2009, -0/+4And the milk makes great cheese.
- Hero0fTime, on 11/01/2009, -0/+3What would Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park say about this thread?
- nevinl, on 11/01/2009, -0/+3goat ***** is tiny....~the size of Jax (that crappy/boring cereal)
- explodingzebras, on 10/31/2009, -0/+3..or NZ
- DangerCollie, on 10/31/2009, -1/+4Mine do a pretty good job keeping the place trimmed up. I need about 10-20 more to keep the lawn mower in the garage all summer. Which is too many to winter. So it's a balancing act.
- borez, on 10/31/2009, -1/+4The youtube channel brought tears of goat joy to my rainy morning:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19901693/ - stephenallen, on 10/31/2009, -1/+4Goats eat anything and can climb anywhere! Their milk is nutritious though. Good story, had me chuckling at the headline.
- shallot, on 11/01/2009, -1/+3I love the idea. Junk those lawn movers....
and the HOAs need some more brains...to allow people to sun dry their washed clothes instead of using dryers... - fakepap23, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2Really you had to put "you"?
- Krissam, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2Greedy? Just because they get paid to have an all you can eat brunch?
- justjk88, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2this actually seems like a pretty good idea to me!
- carbonfilament, on 11/01/2009, -0/+2Seattle, meet Ireland.
- Vranak, on 10/31/2009, -0/+2Yeah, can we make lawnmowers illegal and just have goats?
- v3rtex7740, on 11/01/2009, -0/+2you'd never get it past the republicans
