  • BlueCadenza, on 04/07/2009, -5/+19Its not a shame. Its the local's territory, they don't have a lot of money and they need to eat. Species preservation is the last thing on your mind when your living off of nature.

    I'm glad a lot of comments here and on the news site are being rational about this. If there was an undiscovered island of people who ate dodos as part of their diet we would have no right to tell them to stop eating just because we think that animal is cute and should be preserved.

    BTW how are animal conservationists unable to find these sharks and yet natives are able to fish them and eat them with simple tools?
