Leaked: Finnish nuclear plant "basically" unsafe

weblog.greenpeace.org — Confidential documents obtained by Greenpeace reveal that basic safety procedures have not been followed in the construction of the prototype European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR) in Olkiluoto, Finland. Greenpeace is calling for an immediate end to construction work on the reactor.

  • juliettelucie, on 08/13/2008, -0/+6I can't believe they want to build more of those! They've proved to be everything they weren't supposed to be: safe, fast to build and cheap. Just drop it and make a wind farm instead.
