wri.org — A case study of how in 2004, poor data dissemination put the citizens of the capital of the world's richest country at risk from lead in their drinking water. Note that the problem was not an absence of technical data, but a lack of face-to-face communication. People need environmental information to be communicated in a way that they can act on it
