- ChiefShaman, on 05/01/2008, -0/+6It's funny when people say there isn't enough scientific evidence for a claim that is so apparent - things that are easily noticed - such as milder winters, polar ice cap melting, etc. It cannot be completely dismissed, and that should be scare enough for any intelligent person - then again with the amount of people in this world believing that Jesus actually existed - it's no wonder that such an important issue is still being debated rather than acted upon - whether or not it is happening right now - it will - history shows a repeated cycle of the events. And whether or not you want to believe it or not - we are all part of the web of life and what we do on this planet affects the planet and us as well.
- greenfyre, on 07/07/2008, -0/+6This is a well intentioned article, but suffers from not pointing to any evidence for what it has to say, and unintentionally lends support to what it wants to speak against. For eg "Some experts opine that "Global Warming" is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). " when in fact there is really no credible expert who takes that stand.

He _was_ a geographer, UW never had or has a Dept of Climatology, St Mary's College U of London never offered degrees in Climatology, and UW has threatened to sue him if he does not calling himself emeritus.

Spoiling the country sides, killing off the natural habitats of wildlife in its whole. Sending companies to other *****, and letting illegal people to their country, and building homes for the people abd adding money for them to live here, and I don't know how they can keep addding more and where all the money comes from?
