  • GorecOverYears, on 09/14/2009, -0/+1Perfect creatures...first I was disappointed to see very few butterfly pics, but the last one just takes your breath away, dugg!
    We had monach butterflies in our garden this summer. I found 2 caterpillars and took them home (I was afraid birds or cats might eat them) . Monarchs feed on milkweed plants:

    We have milkweeds in our garden, so I brought some home.
    My caterpillars survived, pupated and then we released 2 butterflies. Not really big contribution, but still I'm glad they survived.
