How uninformed environmentalism kills tens of thousands of people

rachelwaswrong.org — 1962's Silent Spring was a clarion call for people who feared man's tendency to destroy nature. Unfortunately, the biggest impact the book has had has been the unnecessary deaths of many thousands of poor around the world. Bad science and alarmist thinking -- from eugenics to Silent Spring -- is a significant threat to man's future.
