- fkr3, on 03/19/2008, -0/+1Yeah!!!!! Thank ***** a couple dozen retards are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice - a mouse click - to help the environment!!!!!!!!!!!
Why don't we call this what it really is? Click the ad and an unspecified percentage of the profits may be donated to something somewhere that may be beneficial to the environment?

- markopyhajarvi, on 03/18/2008, -2/+3It's frustrating that people talk and talk but big industries of big countries don't seem to react too much. Ok, I'm not pro in this field, but it really looks like we are going to destroy the planet. Frustrating..
- hello2usir, on 03/18/2008, -1/+8Unless this thing is riddled with advertising, I can't see how it could generate any sort of revenue, charitable or otherwise, from just clicking. Regardless, there's no information about this application, nor does it explain how it works nor where the money is actually going. Anyone who isn't even slightly leery of this thing need their head examined.
Buried. - GramarNatzi, on 03/19/2008, -0/+4So after clicking can I go back to my wasteful, materialistic, polluting western lifestyle with the knowledge that I done some good today?
Here's me thinking I was only contributing to the mess.. what a weight off my shoulders. Thanks Facebook! - talonstriker, on 03/19/2008, -2/+4I got all excited until I saw the word "Facebook."
- keyboardduder, on 03/19/2008, -0/+2Farce-book is more like it
- felman87, on 03/19/2008, -2/+1Save the world by clicking? Better start looking at more porn /sarcasm
- zplot, on 03/19/2008, -0/+1Glad to see people extending these sites. Charity sites like the thehungersite.com have been around for a while, but hopefully some viral marketing can kick in with this on Facebook (while not further cluttering Facebook profile pages)
- Noodleson, on 03/19/2008, -2/+0dugg, what do you have to lose?
- keyboardduder, on 03/19/2008, -0/+1Ur personal info, 5 minutes of your awesome life.
- EwMo, on 03/19/2008, -0/+2What's the overhead on this deal? How much is going to "the environment?" And where exactly is the money going? Last I checked, the short description, "Help Save the Environment with just a click or two each day! You also get a cute Little Dude in your profile which your friends can feed to help you Save the Environment!" wasn't sufficient to make this idea legitimate...
It's a great idea, but looks to be poorly executed thus far. - Zarokima, on 03/19/2008, -0/+2So...I'm just going to be blunt here: exactly what the crap does it DO?
- TwistedNature99, on 03/19/2008, -0/+1The money made by impressions on to the ads are sent to environmental charities...the link to the site is on the application.
- keyboardduder, on 03/19/2008, -0/+2Just another scheme to harvest countless profiles from facebook to a personal database. If you want to earn good personal cash, write a ***** facebook app that will appeal to:
1. People looking to do a good thing (this and every other "Save the _____ app)
2. A bandwagon program (Pirates vs. Ninjas)
3. Taking advantage of someone's loneliness
"Someone just wanted to say that you were their best friend ever! Put this program on to see what else they wrote about you!"
4. A personality program "I'm __ in these situations, I am ___ in bed..."
Then you make a database of all the poor saps who gave away their personal info, then BINGO! You sell it to advertisers! - TwistedNature99, on 03/19/2008, -2/+0no personal info is accumulated by facebook applications...what you are talking about is phishing, which is illegal
- Harboggles, on 03/19/2008, -0/+2I love the 21st century...
1960-join the peace choir, attend woodstock, preach peace, etc etc.
2008-click a button in facebok.....
I hate my generation.- Diderotten, on 03/19/2008, -0/+1Hippies failed horribly. Much more is being done nowadays than what happened during the drug-perforated lazy days of the '60s
- Deathrideshorse, on 03/19/2008, -1/+0Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the Governments of the world to use some common sense when distributing Energy subsidies.
Why must the taxpayer subsidise the largest cause of man-made Global Warming(Fossil Fuel electricity generation) whilst alternative energy solutions such as Solar Thermal are forced to struggle?
Why must the consumer be asked to pay extra for "Green" Energy when his/her taxes are subsidising the very antithesis?
We, the undersigned, are not impressed with such hypocrisy.
