EU stepping up efforts to create alarm over global warming
breitbart.com — Despite knowing it has yet to kill or negatively effect 1 person, the EU released a report echoing baseless, dire warnings by the U.N. of the impending global warming apocalypse. Without offering a solution to the problem, the report panel concluded that climate change will cost the entire planet about 20% of their average salary-probably in taxes.

- thomoore, on 03/07/2008, -0/+4The phrase "probably in taxes" says it all. Most of what scientists and politicians are saying about global warming is a scam. http://www.scragged.com/articles/the-hot-air-of-cl ... explains that bureaucrats want a bigger department and more clout. Politicians want a crisis - any crisis - so they can ride to power with a "solution" - more taxes.

that would be cool. - climateHeretic, on 03/09/2008, -0/+2The UN is one to blame for the problems in Darfur! Had the UN lived up to the responsibilities of it's human rights charter and not gone chasing after Global Warming this would have been resolved already. The UN operates so far outside of it's mandate now that it is not even recognizable anymore. Do they really think the average person is going to buy this?
- Euangelion, on 03/09/2008, -1/+1K here's a news flash: The climate is always either warming or cooling. It always has been, and always will. With or without environmental whackos.
