- Bukowsky, on 03/19/2008, -1/+3WOW. There are alot of hateful comments about democrats (even though the story is about the venue)
Why do you hate them so much? And what makes you think the republicans could do any better, cuz the last eight years haved proved differently. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -2/+4I live in Denver, We are going to give these liberal traitors some hell.
- vault, on 03/18/2008, -2/+4I can't decide which is more lame, the Democratic National Convention or being carbon neutral.
- inactive, on 03/18/2008, -1/+2Wishful thinking
- inactive, on 03/19/2008, -1/+2The Democrats claim to champion the environment, even though they're as big of slobs as any Republican out there.
It's similar to when evangelical Republicans get busted with whores or queers. - inactive, on 03/19/2008, -3/+4Whoopty *****. The hypocrites will all arrive in fuel-guzzling private jets, Algore leading the charge. He's going to strut like a peacock. That lame-brain finally/actually convinced a dimwitted element of the world that he's intelligent (a lifetime goal), when in fact he's the biggest moron in the history of the executive branch.
- balibones, on 03/19/2008, -1/+1Doing SOMETHING, even if only for PR benefit, is better than doing NOTHING. We live in a capitalist society so you can't expect everyone, politically or financially, to be 100% hippy-in-the-woods green. And you can't expect a politician to ride a bike across the country so they can make it to the DNC.
Are those our only two choices? Either we ignore it all and just jump off the cliff into environmental disaster, or we turn into total tree-hugging hippies who don't use deodorant or toilet paper? Isn't attempting to at least reduce SOME of the impact of a large gathering such as this worthy of our discussion without resorting to petty, jaded, cynical, sarcastic comments? - inactive, on 03/19/2008, -2/+2"Who do I make the check out to?.....damn this feels good to be environmentally friendly....and ya, I'm interested in that monorail idea you were telling me Springfield likes so much...."
- inactive, on 03/18/2008, -2/+1Dude, the DNC this year may be the most political fun we've seen on TV in quite some time (provided Hillary continues to remain in the race).
