Dell Introduces Their Smallest, Greenest PC Yet
gizmodo.com — Michael Dell, the king of Dell, just previewed his company's smallest and greenest desktop PC yet at FORTUNE Brainstorm: GREEN. There's no name for this mini green PC, shown rendered above, but it's 81% smaller than a mini tower and 70% less energy-consuming.

- ghindo, on 04/22/2008, -0/+7Does it have an optical drive?
- Palscience1, on 04/22/2008, -0/+3Wowo,, I want one of those. Nice Work Dell
- CaptainTex, on 04/22/2008, -6/+1It looks nice. While I'd rather have the tower integrated into the monitor, like an iMac, this could be useful in a university setting.
- scallon, on 04/23/2008, -0/+2I would like to be able to upgrade my monitor as I see fit without having to toss my entire computer to do so.
- Agreb91, on 04/22/2008, -3/+1I like it a lot. It is small, and it is even a good computer for the environment.
- waterdrop, on 04/22/2008, -0/+1It looks very cool, as long as the specs and price are right, then I think Dell has a very nice Mac Mini competitor. one problem I see though is that it might not have an optical drive based on this picture. If they use one of those Atom CPUs, this thing could be very low-power.
- subcomandante, on 04/23/2008, -1/+5Yes, I'm sure it'll run Crysis.
- DarkSamus, on 04/23/2008, -2/+1yeah right
- Ganja420, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1Because the average consumer needs to run Crysis
- malcolmbradley, on 04/23/2008, -1/+0I wouldn't want it integrated (like Apple or even DellXPSOne) into a monitor since I use a 24" and most people don't want to pay for that.
- Fatcheeseguy, on 04/23/2008, -0/+2The problem I find with small PC's are that their parts have a shorter life span than most regular sized PC's.
- Slovenian6474, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1And more expensive or impossible to replace something that's broke.
- Navicerts, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1I dunno, can it compete with the apple cube pc (cheap) that you can make a cluster network out of?
- talonstriker, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1But will it run Windows 7?
----
What's the price tag on that thing? - dtzitz, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1Will it run windows 7? Will it have an optical drive? I don't care.
What I really want to know is:
Will it blend?
