youtube.com — Over 1.1 billion people in the world don't have access to clean drinking water. When I heard of a water purifier that uses nanotechnology to purify water even from fecal matter contaminated water sources, I couldn't help but test it out the "uncultured" way.

The inhabitants are defecating in, washing clothing in, and throwing refuse in the very water they draw to drink... the Red Cross and other organizations try and try again to tell them not to, but it seems to just be something that they refuse to understand. I volunteer work with the Red Cross in Africa, and it was VERY frustrating. I hate to say it, but many of the problems in Africa are preventable, but the indigenous people want no part in the solution.

    Even if they were to multiply that by 10 so one would get 7000 liters of water, it would still be too expensive.
