- OneLess, on 02/10/2008, -0/+8The world does not need more AT&T bars commercials. The novelty of sneaking bars into every scene died after the first ad.
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -0/+5Bender: "heheheheh"
- INDOAZZ, on 02/10/2008, -7/+12AT&T should use this in their AD campaigns!

- rocket777, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2And some believe it is possible to model clouds correctly in a computer simulation. Such marvelous beauty is not so easily explained.
- DigitAl56K, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2More bars across the world: Hooters.
- vroom101, on 02/10/2008, -2/+4What is the scientific explanation for that cloud pattern? And does the pattern have a formal name?
- Ogedei, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2Not clouds. This is a direct result of global warming. They are the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the sky trapping the heat in our atmosphere. They will cause the oceans to rise and then that "beautiful" desert will be blue.
No wait...
Photoshopped! That's what I meant! - inactive, on 02/10/2008, -1/+3so interesting :)

- AZRoboto, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1Did anyone else notice the dust storm that reached into the sky?

- vroom101, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1Via http://www.timetemperature.com/africa/mali_time_zo ... ( timetemperature.com/africa/mali_time_zone.shtml ):
Mali Standard Time is GMT (UTC) +0
Mali does not use daylight saving time so Mali is on
GMT or UTC time all year .
Mali is in Africa. The capital of Mali is Bamako. - Lith25, on 02/10/2008, -2/+3Makes you realize how small this word really is.
- wrzhydr, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1God made it. Thats how most religions would explain it.
- cmccool, on 02/10/2008, -2/+3kinda wish the picture presented a lone cloud instead of a group crossing the sahara, then, and only then, would it reflect a reality i could identify with.
- bluesnowmonkey, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1It's not actually noon where the clouds are.
- vroom101, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1And the celestial bodies too (I think they're stars).

- pw378, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1Bwahaha,.... Now THAT was funny!
- vroom101, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1Maybe the photo should be submitted to NASA's APOD (Astronomy Picture for the Day) editors for an explanation.
- mareacaspica, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1what a beautiful yet fragile planet we have! To bad we can't take care of it better
