- climateHeretic, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3While I am a great fan of Talkclimatechange this is just a humour piece. The kind of literal thinking that fosters the resistance of debate, name calling, lack of common sense that runs through this topic is only perpetuated by stereotypical labels and general lack of tolerance in a free world. I refuse to accept any label pre-defined by social class or leisure activity.
- doublehead, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1I hate winter myself, so a little warming is good for me. However, the damage that a little for me will do is unacceptable. We all need to do something about it. The politicians won't because there's too much money for their corporate friends to pass up.

There is a serious message here: it is important to recognise that the majority of people don't have a reasoned standpoint on the topic like you do. Most people choose thier positioning on the climate change debate based on thier circumstances and very few have really thought anything through.
One of the goals of TalkClimateChange is to encourage deeper thinking, and se we aimed through this article to expose the lack of it.
PS. Very happy to hear that you are a great fan!
