There, I single-handedly destroyed your premise. Have a nice day! - dheaddy, on 11/27/2007, -4/+12Gutted this is US only
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -6/+12As usual, America only. Seriously, ***** that.
- edebolt, on 11/27/2007, -0/+6you pussies. Try living in Asia where there is real pollution.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+7I think Google is great too but... Privacy? Censorship?
- jubilee123, on 11/27/2007, -0/+5well, it is a US government site...
- foofiejnooner, on 11/27/2007, -0/+4why would the us epa publish this for canada? anyways the headline is misleading it doesnt show anything about air pollution, just locations of factories. i'd like to see an actual representation of air pollution

- KesshoRyu, on 11/27/2007, -3/+7Diggs are not the same as page views.
- aadsfasdf, on 11/27/2007, -1/+5http://www.epa.gov/air/emissions/where.htm
- Ionis, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3Yup, the internet isn't made up 100% of Americans.
- sweetholymosiah, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3we're just 30 million or so... and among the worst polluters in the world. We need to get out heads out of our asses about this one.
- Chahrlie5, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3It wouldn't be as P.C. to see that we're not the worst polluters.
- rhinst, on 11/27/2007, -1/+4Now they just need to add crime rate and population density maps so I can see what's happening around the mayor's mansion - and quick, before Bowser attacks! It's a hard job managing a megalopolis...

geez
world air pollution ... - Chahrlie5, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2I lived in Jakarta for a while, I can still taste the pollution.
- m3t00, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2Yeah, site down, misleading title, "treehuggermum" sounded like a UK fag tag. I'm so disappointed. Digg is stale.
- richlizard24, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1That is the country invoking censorship.
- edebolt, on 11/27/2007, -1/+2I will reply to my own comment..... oh that is desperate. Anyway the EPA in the US has about 18,000 employees. In China their EPA equivalent has about 250 people. Many of them take bribes. I moved from Colorado to Thailand and visit China and Vietnam regularly. You have no idea how good you have it living in the states. Count your blessings !!!!!!
- tounchin, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Dude, WTF got stuck up your ass?
- Chahrlie5, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Considering that most Canadians live close to our border and the other 90% of your land is basically inhabited this isn't surprising.
- bdbElysian, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Wow air pollution is so pathetic is so many places that monitoring it is a feature on Google Earth. Makes me wonder where people get the balls to argue about global warming when their gasping for air.
- hammerattack, on 11/27/2007, -2/+3Holy crap... the EPA did something actually useful.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1ye asia is crazy like that wmijoldkwan oibnfw

- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+1dang nabbit US only, oh well.
- hammerattack, on 11/27/2007, -2/+1son of a bitch... I take that back. The EPA has just published a map of EVERY soft infrastructure target in the area (Atlanta Metro). I'm seeing the exact location and getting sat-intel for Electric, Natural Gas, Chemical and petroleum refineries. Fortunately, I'm still upwind of them, so when jihad comes at least I can watch the fires in relative safety. My god the government is stupid.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -3/+3nice, canada doesnt produce anything... im proud of this.
- therealshit, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0great feature. I hope the US becomes aware of what they`re doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly. - richlizard24, on 11/27/2007, -9/+2Google is a great company. You never hear anyone say that Google is an evil company. Can't wait for the next big thing from Google.
