California's Newest Green Product - Hybrid School Bus

marketwatch.com — Imagine the environmental impact if all of California's school buses were able to double their fuel efficiency and eliminate up to 40 percent of their greenhouse gas emissions. IC Bus, LLC, the largest school bus manufacturer in North America delivered a revolutionary new hybrid diesel electric school bus to the School District last August.

  • BuckNutty, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3The sad fact of all of this on a world level is that for every school bus that gets the hybrid electric treatment in California, there are two non-efficient school buses hitting the roads in both India and China. Still, it's good to see that everyone's starting to focus in on something that actually means something... in California onetheless.
