- Akairenn, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4I, for one, welcome the eventual fight against our biofuel tycoon monopolies and government corruption.
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Its kind of ironic and sickening to know that we could have had biofuels in the late 80's which would have inadvertently softened the financial crisis substantially. How things are done needs to change. We only seem to do something useful when we discover its the only option we have left.
Bring on the biofuel, and help break the oil tycoon monopolies and government corruption. - rheaume, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Land based algae ftw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2OwcwUTvDY&fea ...

You had the Vice Presidency for 8 freakin' years, Al Gore. You have lost all right to lecture America about what we need to be doing. - leontes, on 01/06/2009, -2/+3We should just breathe a little bit. Let's look at the economics of a biofuel before jumping all in with both feet. Does it cost more energy to create than you could possibly save in it's creation? Then it's not viable. Abort abort.
Let's not spend millions of dollars in neat sounding technology. Let's spend money on items that will reduce cost and increase efficiency. Ethanol has been such a waste of time.
I do like the idea of algae. Let's make it something that can grow in our backyards. - jonathan686, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1I'm glad I read past the opening paragraph. I almost missed a good article because of that terrible opening.
- lornali, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Good article
- rheaume, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1I bet if I stuff your dead body in his ***** mouth, it will work, deal?
- Garlik, on 01/06/2009, -3/+4Yeah... will biofuel help keep Dane Cook quiet? If it doesn't, I'm not buying it.
- Oozinator, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1agreed Akairenn, let us hope our kids don't complain about big coal or big oil, F#$% BIG GREEN!
