edit: actually its dead, never mind then - ashwin100, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Maybe only 20 diggs but potentially hundreds of non-dugg views.
- Asianwaste, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yokohama is a great city... it's just the river smells like week old roadkill.
- nullcodes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2These look nice. They should have some close ups of street life etc. I've been to Japan once but didn't get to see enough/much.
- Sabin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1These are great shots! Having a going away party for a friend of mine from Yokohama tonight. Can't wait to go visit her and see this stuff in person :D

- clockworkORANGE, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3ooooh, long exposures.
- RubeusEsclair, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If that's sarcasm, I agree. Good photography is one thing, but lately I've only been seeing long time exposures. Don't get me wrong, its still cool, but it's not special anymore when everyone does it. I would have been happy to see those pics with a shorter exposure.
- OsiVert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Some of them look like long exposures without a tripod. The larger sized versions of these pictures are probably really blurry.
- championchap, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Seems like a mixture to me.. even some of the images appear to have elements that are both long and short exposure.
Im no photographer, or photo editor.. so perhaps somebody else could explain what im seeing?
Though i guess it could just be that some elements actually were just not moving.. it seems quite unlikely in a couple of cases.
- mcfarag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29"Great night shots of Yokohama which is the third largest city in Japan at night."
What happens to it during the day?- emiller, on 10/12/2007, -3/+39Godzilla.
- Winters, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21During the daytime you can actually SEE the ninjas.
- themarq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+33You can *never* see ninjas.
- directedition, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4Well you would see the ninjas if they let you keep your eyes in their sockets long enough.
- CedEx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Why would ninjas put your eyes into their sockets? That's just crazy talk.
- noseeme, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5duggmirror.com got it

- dcbebop, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Damn BlueHost. I hate that service, cancelled my account months ago. I hope they burn in hell.
- hybrid11, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13too bad there's no wallpaper size shots, they'd make a nice desktop background
- MikeOSX, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1agreed... these would look nice as my wallpaper
- CodeofHonor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4You can find very similar pictures here. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/urltrurl?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftokyoyakei.cool.ne.jp%2F&lp=ja_en&tt=url
- ae92, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1jrocknyc, by foreigners, do you mean "non-Japanese"? Unless you're Japanese calling people from countries other than Japan "foreigners" is kind of weird, you have to admit. (And if you do happen to be Japanese then it means you're a xenophobe!)
As for Roppongi, EVERYBODY is drunk there at night, regardless of race or nationality...
- masterkenobi, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1So um, what's the story about a Pictures section on Digg?
- masterkenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Digg haters...
- nottidredd, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1makes me think of crackdown. i want to climb that one skyscraper.
- darthsnoopy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Exactly..if they'd listed this as crackdown 2 screens, I'd almost believed it.
The long exposure from a high angle idea was a nice one...I'd love to know where the photographer was standing (rooftop? balcony? or these through a window?)
- darthsnoopy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Exactly..if they'd listed this as crackdown 2 screens, I'd almost believed it.
- JamesWilson, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1HDR?
- directedition, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4No, just long exposure.
- mrpink.137, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2No high-res?
- r0ck3tm4nn, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Special Stage Route 5 in Gran Turismo?!
- coldphoenix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4That's my favorite course.
- coldphoenix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Japan is one of the most beautiful places when its all lit up at night.
- sally00, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Just a buncha lights and buildings.
The title is definitely an overstatement. - SimonJohnson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Pretty much useless without a high-res link...
- BlauAngel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5These screenshots makes Japan look like it's 50 years in the future or something. It's awsome.
- vashmyvindows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Dugg for calling the photos "screenshots"
I've made the same mistake before, and I told someone that they could "delete" a piece of paper, too.
- vashmyvindows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Dugg for calling the photos "screenshots"
- jmeeter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4God damn I wanna visit Japan so bad.
- DigitalJester, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I would love one of these as my wallpaper. Does anyone have links to High Res (1280x1024+)?
- lecky71, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Nice, but some aren't Yokohama but Tokyo; the Roppongi ones are a give away, as is the sight of Tokyo Tower.
- themarq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The Ferris Wheel is in Yokohama.
- shamam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He's correct, two photos are from Tokyo.
- tarmithius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yokohama is the second largest city not the third.
- mikesly, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What is NYC lacking a Ferris Wheel! We need one to be cool!
- sfmman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hi-rez on these pics would be great.
- Markpdotcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yes! Where are the high quality versions we can use as wallpaper?
- saethone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0thats a really colorful city
- CompIsMyRx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1And there goes the server...
- tetsuwan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's no coincidence that two of the photos appear to be from Tokyo, since the two cities, and Kawasaki too, have completely merged geographically. They are only different cities for administration.
- victortrash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its beautiful during the winter. Especially around the harbor area.
- deadsanchez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The third one down looks like the Bloc Party Album cover for Weekend in the City
- stickyhoney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Beautiful use of exposure & light. Interesting to know if they were photoshopped afterwards to balance the colours.
- pennvneff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow awesome pics! It's as if scenes from Blade Runner, Akira, and Collateral decided to spawn and produce some kind of mutant offspring.
- griffe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1can anyone says Final Fantasy 7? Damn.
- Mindstormer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Too bad there aren't any wallpaper sizes. :(
EDIT: Whoops, someone already said that! Great... now I get digged down. - zadadka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very nice....
No power shortages there then.....
...no astronomers either with that light pollution ... - jonny5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think a few of those shots were taken at the top of Landmark Tower, Ive taken a few shots myself from similar viewpoints but during the day
