- jeshakespeare, on 11/06/2009, -3/+416It looks cool, but Somalian pirates have proven to us that all you need is a crappy fishing boat with a couple of 2 strokes and an RPG.
- Kuci06, on 11/07/2009, -24/+392FUHCK YU DORPHIN!
- RagingReid, on 11/06/2009, -8/+278Looks like the Bat Boat.

- gilbes, on 11/07/2009, -31/+187What a super bad ass way to do absolutley nothing.
I suppose someone figure out all that whale donation money wasn't doing *****, so they might as well not do ***** in style. Expesnive wasteful style. - twodollars, on 11/07/2009, -7/+130They will only throw stinky butter at them anyways.
- tgbauer77, on 11/06/2009, -5/+123Reminds me of the boat from Tomorrow Never Dies.
- ghostlywind, on 11/07/2009, -5/+118AND FUHCK YU WAHLE
- xero69, on 11/07/2009, -1/+113If you wanted to get really close to a whaling vessel (or better yet have them come to you) maybe your stealth vehicle should resemble, oh I don't know, a WHALE maybe?
- r0cky666, on 11/07/2009, -17/+120PHUCK YU SHICKEN!
- KDX200rider, on 11/07/2009, -25/+121Give me a break...Badass.....yeah right. The Sea Shepherds are a joke. The most effective thing they did in their first season was to film the killing of a whale. Everything else they was a joke.
The captain is a an old, dangerous fool. He risked everyone's lives by sailing into ice in a boat that should never even be near ice, and he rammed another vessel risking lives on both ships. - alex7575, on 11/07/2009, -4/+84Can someone please translate? I don't speak Japanese.
- flyinfoofighter, on 11/07/2009, -0/+67Trojan whale.
- Bonders20, on 11/07/2009, -10/+72Pu-Pu-Pu-Poka Face!!!
- ryguy4377, on 11/07/2009, -5/+67I came here for this.
- Lyanto, on 11/07/2009, -2/+63I don't recognize some of the characters but I'm fairly certain it means something like "This ***** is no match for our anti anti-whaling boat tentacle monsters."
- chall2001, on 11/07/2009, -12/+73Wait, are you telling me that the Sea Shepperd was out there to save whales?
After watching the show several times I thought it was a comedy focusing on dangerous slap stick humor. It was sort of like "Jackass" but with emo kids. - NoUltimatum, on 11/07/2009, -3/+60kaw end chikin?
KAW END CHIKIN? - wadester2489, on 11/07/2009, -3/+55Japan.
- Chairboy, on 11/07/2009, -8/+60You're right, they do plenty of things:
* Fake being shot
* Regularly display how incompetent they are at shiphandling
* Whine about how how hard it is to sit in the boat and how bored they are
* Eat ***** vegan food - hematose, on 11/07/2009, -7/+52What a stupid idea. Take a small boat with the occupants sealed inside, a history of mechanical breakdowns and a small radar cross section, paint it black so it can't be easily seen by anyone and then sail it through dangerous seas where a rescue is hard to mount at the best of times. Then, for that little extra something, use it to harass and possibly ram much larger and more robust ships.
When these guys break down and start to sink, they'll be trapped inside the boat because of all the ice that's caked on the outside and nobody will be able to find them and come to the rescue.
They just want to be martyrs. - estate, on 11/07/2009, -4/+47I've been on a tour of this boat when she was in NZ on a fundraising tour of the country.
Despite the small size she is amazingly comfortable in rough seas - capable of having something like 5m of water above the windscreen.
She was silver then and didn't look quite as hardcore as she does here.
It's an amazing engineering achievement, that boat. - TCBevolver, on 11/07/2009, -10/+49If that's what gay looks like then gay me up, matey!
- FitteMas, on 11/07/2009, -7/+44Damn whalers, we gotta get them over to slaughtering cows and chickens instead, so they will be normal. Like us.
- blueRAP, on 11/07/2009, -1/+36Colorado.
- blueRAP, on 11/07/2009, -2/+35DIS ISA OUTWAGE!!!
- ChileanGoD, on 11/07/2009, -4/+36Where's batman?
- CrazyEddie041, on 11/07/2009, -12/+43Erm... he's NOT risked dozens of lives by ramming boats into each other.
- JKAL, on 11/07/2009, -45/+75That's because it's not the boat that makes a difference it's the crew, the crew of the Sea Shepherd are a bunch of cowards that only attack weak targets, trying to look like heroes, they are not doing this to save whales, they do this to feed their egos.
Another greater cause of whale & other sea life deaths is the use of high tech naval radar techonology mainly from subs, these are killing sea life in the thousands, all gone to waste, not even consumed.
But you will not see these Shepherd cowards attacking a naval vessel anytime soon, they will only attack ships that will not return attack. - cplusplus, on 11/07/2009, -0/+29Not deflecting but absorbing...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_absorbent_mater ...
"One of the most commonly known types of RAM [Radar absorbent material] is iron ball paint. It contains tiny spheres coated with carbonyl iron or ferrite. Radar waves induce molecular oscillations from the alternating magnetic field in this paint, which leads to conversion of the radar energy into heat. The heat is then transferred to the aircraft [or boat] and dissipated." - StarExtreme, on 11/07/2009, -1/+30CHIIKEN AND COW?!?!!!!!
- brad3378, on 11/07/2009, -3/+28A boat like this one can't be cheap. Where do the anti-whaling folks get their money from?
- Phive, on 11/07/2009, -6/+31FUKN MONGWIONS TWYING TO TWEAR DOW MY SHHITY WOLL!!!
- alpha88, on 11/07/2009, -5/+29As did I.
- smileyouredead, on 11/07/2009, -2/+25"a lot more effective than you are?"
How is that? These people are only hurting their cause in the eyes of the average person. Star Trek: The Voyage Home, has done more to help their cause than these idiots. - H3nk387, on 11/07/2009, -5/+28@Tyrghast
Last weeks South Park episode. :) They did a parody on Whale Wars. - nambio, on 11/07/2009, -1/+23I've seen it in person as well, and its totally awesome. But its worth noting it has had _significant_ problems since being launched, having broken down numerous times due to mechanical problems when it was doing the circumnavigation. Not the ship I would want to be on in the ***** Antartic ocean.
- sdcarter, on 11/07/2009, -2/+24FTA: "... allowing the vessel to approach whaling ships virtually unseen. (Until, of course, it is seen, and "engages" the whalers, which is part of its mission.)"
RTFA. - DarbonX, on 11/07/2009, -2/+24Where does it say anything about Auckland Harbour being in Australia? It says it's going to GO TO PERTH
- captainplanet52, on 11/07/2009, -5/+27As did I.
- Piper7865, on 11/07/2009, -9/+30I'm pretty sure you mean sonar not radar is what ***** up the whales and what not .. at least get the tech correct... but Sea Shepherd and crew are a bunch of pussies ... it's just too bad no one has opened up on them with a .50 cal and rocked their ship.
- Manchowder, on 11/07/2009, -10/+31Cowards? They don't use weapons and charge into physical danger. What definition of coward are you using? Braving physical danger with little reward is an ancient definition of bravery. Would it be "brave" of them to use explosives and RPGs to systematically murder whaling crews? Sea Shepard tries to harass whalers with non lethal means where lethal ones would be vastly more effective.
- dew209, on 11/07/2009, -6/+27As did I.
- FitteMas, on 11/07/2009, -2/+23"Whales are an endangered species".. Whales are not A species, its a group of species, many of which are not endangered.
According to the IUCN Red List, Mink whales are considered of "Least Concern" from a conservation perspective.
Bottlenose dolphins are also not considered an endangered species.
You talk to me about neurons, but it seems your own are clouded by smug - Moralogic, on 11/07/2009, -2/+23Where is the rocket launcher?
- votic, on 11/07/2009, -6/+26As did I.

- AzraDarkness, on 11/07/2009, -4/+24da da da da da da da da WHALEMAN!
- Ferago, on 11/07/2009, -2/+21You don't have to be and 'authority-worshiping yes-man' to realize that the captain of the Sea Shepherds is an ego driven dumb prick. All you have to do is watch one episode of that show.
