- avitorio, on 11/15/2009, -3/+10We need more predatory coral! Jellyfishes are among the most useless and annoying animals in the world. They are like land mines floating in the ocean.
- DaviDTC, on 11/15/2009, -1/+7But a seahorse is actually a horse right?
- Mawds, on 11/15/2009, -0/+6Squidward goes to Coral Town...
- AndrewDB, on 11/15/2009, -1/+7Jellyfish aren't actually ... fish.
- Junkyarddawg, on 11/15/2009, -1/+6What?
_Fungia_ and other large-polyped corals (a single polyp may be 10" across) don't feed on "microscopic particles", they're night-feeding predators, completely unlike small-polyped corals like Staghorn coral. I had an Open Brain coral (_Trachyphyllia_) in my aquarium I used to feed 2" silversides (baitfish). If a jellyfish hits the tentacles of an Open Brain or a Fungia, it's going down. - Junkyarddawg, on 11/15/2009, -0/+5Considerably more impressive:

Well I have news for you, there is no such thing. PETA made it up. Nothing is a sea kitten.
